Review
This is a great binge read of C T Mitchell's cozy mystery series all at a great price and in one set. I love reading some short mysteries as well as the longer ones, and here is a good collection of the shorter variety.
"I must say that I've enjoyed the Selena Sharma and Lady Margaret Turnbull series so far - and I loved a binge reread with them all in one boxed set. At the same time, I had a chance to discover his other series as well. The characters are memorable and very human - they feel like people you already know. His lead characters are strong ladies who are doing the best that they can... and then... well, it can be murder!
I enjoyed this, and I think you will, too. The stories seem to end quickly and you want to keep reading more!" - 5 Stars
"What fantastic stories ... A enjoyable set of Cozy Mystery's " with Recipes. The characters are like family, mystery readers can't go wrong with C.T. Mitchell's lady sluthes.. So grab a favorite Beverage, and a fleece throw and enjoy your heart out !" - 5 Stars
"These short stories have easy to follow plots and interesting characters. I recommend these books to all lovers of murder mystery stories." - 4 stars

- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2020Ready for an easy cozy mystery series? This is for you. Lady Turnbull series is written so you think these people could be your friends. I waited to read the second set—Selena—so while it seemed familiar it was again a time I needed a cozy set to read. The price is right definitely right for so many books. Get them now.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2019This series has interesting plots, but I had trouble dealing with the switch between verb tenses and typos. The point of view was especially hard to maintain when in the same paragraph one has to decide if the narrator is speaking in the past or present.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2020easy reading to unwind and relax
- Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2020I was actually enjoying these short mystery stories, although they could use some editing and proofreading, but when I got to the last set, the Selena Sharma stories, I realized that they were almost exactly, word for word, the same as the Lady Margaret Turnbull books, with only the names and the setting changed. If I hadn’t been reading them as a series, it wouldn’t have been so noticeable but it really wasn’t smart to put the books with the same plot in a series together. Therefore, I rated the series only two stars. If I hadn’t read the last ones, I would have rated the others higher.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2020I was chosen to read the newest book from C T Mitchell and I have to tell you I am totally hooked on these stories. If you love Father Brown, Murder She Wrote, Colombo or any of the old time mystery sleuths then you will love these 13 stories and how they were solved. I loved how when I had an hour or so I could read a story and finish it. I can't wait to read more by this author.

Poorly written and certainly not proof read! These filled in 30 minutes which could have been used on a better book!
