Risky Move: Tampa Suns Hockey Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 404 ratings

She’s his brother’s nanny...and totally off-limits.

In an effort to escape her overprotective mother, Cassie moves to Tampa to decide her future and claim her independence. When she lands a job as a live-in nanny to adorable twin infants, she’s convinced she’s on the right track. Until she meets her new roommate: Tom. He’s an off-the-charts gorgeous neurologist
(are they even allowed to be that sexy?)—her brother's boss and also her aunt’s best friend.

There are way too many points of contact for them to take the risk...but Cassie can’t help but fantasize what contact with him would feel like. Tom knows the stakes, but Cassie’s vibrant spirit strikes a chord in his heart, and he can’t stay away. But just when they start to think they’re moving in sync, the unthinkable happens. Did taking the risk create a chasm too wide to bridge?

**Risky Move is a standalone book in the Tampa Suns Hockey series. This sweet and spicy full-length novel can be read on its own—no cliffhanger, no cheating and a guaranteed Happily Ever After. You may enjoy meeting and following a growing group of friends connected by the Tampa Suns professional hockey team. Some characters are introduced in the Clearing the Ice Trilogy and Healthy Scratch.**

This is a slow burning romance between two people who are at different points in their life as he is settled in his career while she is deciding what she wants for her career. They are both cautious about being together but as we see their relationship unfold they prove to be a perfect pair. KariBookReviews

Cassie & Tom’s romance is a slow burn romance where their relationship slowly grows from friendship to more. Tom was an amazing man & a pretty decent human being overall. His support of Cassie is unwavering and sweet. We also get a chance to watch Cassie’s transformation from a hesitant, unsure young woman to one who confidently makes her choices and plans without being afraid of her mother’s reactions. Reecee's Book Reviews

Ryan continues to own my heart. Tom and Cassie dig deep into the soul with a sweetness that is fractured yet pure. Risky Move is a journey to find out where life wants you to be. Age is not about weakness. Whether young or old, strength comes from knowledge, life experience and faith in who we find we are meant to be. Risky Move is an ever evolving life lesson that doesn't hold back, because it has a lot to say. Isha Coleman Reviews

Robyn M. Rayn has written a 5-star book that has Cassie and Tom getting to know each other slowly...Tom doesn't feel like he can let his feelings for Cassie be known because of her working for his brother Andrew. As they get to know each other, their feelings grow stronger....This was a wonderful book to read and I would recommend it to anyone. Angela Barnes, Vine Voice

I love romance novels that give me the full picture. I love when the hero and heroine don't jump right into bed with each other. With that said, while this book was decent it just was way to long. It kept dragging on and on. Cassie and Tom both felt the connection between the two of them. But instead of talking it out and seeing where it could go they put each other in the friend zone because of all the combination relationships. I kept waiting and waiting for something to happen. When they finally did decide to pursue a relationship I was so happy! That's when I felt the story picked up. Though I will admit I still had my issues, especially after we hit the climax. Cassie and her complete self doubt bothered me. The fact that she willingness took all the blame, even when she saved him, bothered me. Amelie really bothered me. Cassie's mother bothered me (especially as we see in the end she was happy for Cassie.) I would have loved to read about when Tom and Amanda finally met and that interaction. I just felt like there was so much that could have been skipped and so much that could have been elaborated on more. Please don't get me wrong. I enjoyed this couple and getting to go on their love story with them. Tom was an amazing man and I especially loved how he stuck by Cassie's side the whole time. I just wish it hadn't dragged on so much. Real life has a tendency to drag on. I want to enjoy my escape in a story. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

I loved this story. Two down to earth people that fall in love. All of the reasons to not get involved finally went out the door when their sparks kept getting stronger. Finally they had to see where this love lead. Such a great and devoted love.

Overall enjoyable read. Beginning seemed shallow, lacking depth. Picked up and continued to Improve. Developed into a good story, a tad lengthy .Probably would have helped read the related books first to fill in gaps. Overall, very enjoyable.
