A princess in hiding.

John Vellum is hired to protect the youngest princess of the Finnian Alliance. He is sent to a Space Station Joplin where she’s been hiding. Royals are spoiled and entitled. John knows it won’t be an easy job but a friend asked so he takes on the job.

Mel Breuer is content as a supply officer and being on her own. No one knows she’s really a princess and she likes it that way. When John Vellum comes to her rescue, she doesn’t want or need him to rescue her.

    The worldbuilding is interesting, the characters are fascinating and fun (especially Mel), and the story is fantastic. There is a body count, mention of a child being sexually abused, and some graphic sex. There are some editing issues, which I overlooked because the story was excellent. There were numerous plot twists, as well as enjoyable character interactions, that had me happily turning pages until the early morning. I really like Mel and highly recommend this book.

    Royal Undercover is a pleasant twist to the usual The Bodyguard and princess Cinderella. This is my first full Eileen novel and I must say I loved it. Though the romance was far too tamed than I'd like but that's not the author's fault but that of my preferred taste. Mel isn't your typical princess and John isn't your typical protector which was refreshing I must admit. Let's not talk about the mystery and thrill this novel gives. Never a dull moment which I enjoyed and the plot and world building is well thought out too loved that I was kept on my toes.

    I'm not much for fluffy romance hence my 4star would rated it higher had it been more raunchy but again that's just my preference. Good job on the princess and bodyguard twist Eileen!

    I recommend reading Royal Undercover it's a delight to the reader's palate.

    This book grabbed me and kept me reading until the very last page. It moves along at a speed which is perfect for the story, not too fast nor too slow but just the right speed. It has characters that you will love no matter what happens and a story that will grab you and keep you reading. This book has to be read, you will not be sorry that you did.

    Mal and John have an exciting story filled with action and danger. I enjoyed the pacing and the emotion through. There are some amazing interactions between the characters and not just Mel and John.
