Santa and the Lighthouse: Santa' Adventures - 2 (Michael Facherty) Paperback – October 22, 2019
Purchase options and add-ons
Santa and his reindeer run into a problem trying to deliver the lighthouse keeper's presents.
Not even the glow streaming from Rudolph's nose can help them on this foggy Christmas night. In the end, it's Dasher's nose that help them find their way.
The second in the series "Santa's Adventures", this heart warming book is a great follow up to "Santa and the Gingerbread Man".
This wonderful book is perfect for reading together at bedtime. It would be a real treat in a Christmas Eve box.
This book will appeal to:
young children
early readers
reluctant readers
teachers
parents and
grandparents
any Santa looking for a seasonal story
Michael Rosen has provided the introduction pointing out the benefits of reading with children. The illustrations by Mudassir Abid are a perfect complement to the story.

About the author

Since he first played Father Christmas over 30 years ago, Mike (Henley Santa) has visited, and been visited by, thousands of children.
Many parents claim that he is the real Santa but he isn’t. He’s just a very kindly older gentleman who wants to make wonderful memories for families when the real Santa Claus simply cannot be there.
Henley Santa (Mike) loves making up and telling stories as part of his home visits. Many parents and grandparents have suggested that he should make them into books.
"Santa and the Gingerbread Man" is the first of the series "Santa's Adventures" and the second is "Santa and the Lighthouse". The third in the series, "Atul's Wonderful Christmas" was published in December.
Mike is working on book four of the series, "The Three Pigs In Peril" and the first in a new series, "Pirate Jenny" about a girl who longs to be a pirate despite all the obstacles in her way!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2022I really enjoyed Henley Santa’s “Santa and The Lighthouse”, and especially loved the illustrations of the reindeer, Santa and Rudolph’s nose shining bright on Christmas. What I liked most about this book is the really important message about the importance of helping each other out when there is a problem. Children can learn from how Santa and Rudolph help a Lighthouse Keeper solve a problem together. You’ll also find fun puzzles and a quiz in the back, which can add to the whole experience. After finishing this short story, I also recommend reading the author’s other book; “Santa and the Gingerbread Man”. Highly recommended!
