Business owner Sean D’Arcy loves Christmas shopping for his thirteen nieces and nephews. But something happens the moment he lays eyes on the picture of the knock-’em-dead, auburn-haired elf smack dab in the middle of the Santa’s Helper poster. He decides this is the year he needs help to buy gifts.

Lily has sworn off men. Sean is a happy bachelor. The thing is, he’s never encountered an elf before, and certainly never a woman like Lily. Suddenly, he’s not so sure the single life is the high life.

Ann Simas lives in Oregon, but she is a Colorado girl at heart, having grown up in the Rocky Mountains. She has been an avid reader since childhood and penned her first fiction "book" in high school. She particularly likes to write mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story and paranormal or supernatural elements. She is a three-time RWA Golden Heart Finalist. Simas currently has 42 books in print. All are available in both paperback and in ebook format.

An award-winning watercolorist and a budding photographer, Ann also enjoys needlework and gardening in her spare time. She is her family's "genealogist" and has been blessed with the opportunity to conduct first-hand research in Italy for both her writing and her family tree. The genealogy research from decade's old documents in Italian, she says, has been a supreme but gratifying challenge.

    This was my first time reading anything by Ann Simas, and I have to say I was impressed. Santa’s Helper is a sweet romance about a single mom who’s sworn off men, and a man who finds love when he wasn’t even looking for it. Lily provides her services as a personal holiday shopper to try to make ends meet. Although Sean loves shopping for his family, he just doesn’t have the time this year. When he sees Lily dressed as an Elf on her flyer, he instantly knows that she is what he wants for Christmas this year. He just has to convince her that she wants the same.
    Santa’s Helper is a very cute, well written love story. While everything takes place in a very short period of time, the story doesn’t seem rushed at all. I loved the extra characters in this book. Lily’s daughter Macey was just adorable, and she helped to move the story along. I love that the author was able to include really good love scenes that managed to not be overly graphic. Over all it was a very entertaining and quick read that really got me in the Christmas spirit, even though it’s February. If you like holiday romances, then I would definitely suggest this book. I know I’ll look forward to reading more from this author.

    This is a great contemporary romance with characters that will make you smile time and again. Lilly's little girl Macey is the definition of precious, you can just imagine all of her cuteness walking off the page. Lilly is beautiful, clever and resourceful with a huge heart. Sean is sexy, smart, gentle and loving. The story is delightfully fresh and engaging. The story flows well throughout, and the characters are developed well and easy to identify with. The pull between Sean and Lilly is strong from the start, but like any good romance they try to fight it. This is a heart warming, feel good romance, with enough spice to keep you warm on a cold day. I loved this one from the start to finish, and I couldn't find any negatives. Great read!

    Santa's Helper brought me some post Christmas cheer. I really enjoyed this romance story. Sean needs to do some last minute Christmas shopping. He finds a flyer for help with Christmas shopping and thinks this is just what he needs. Lilly is a single mom that helps people with their last minute Christmas shopping to earn extra money to make Christmas special for her little girl. Being a single mother is tough. Sean secures Lilly's services to help with his shopping and there is a definite attraction. Now Sean just needs to convince Lilly to take a chance on him. The story is sweet and makes you believe in Christmas magic. Santa's helper had great characters, especially Lilly's daughter, and the story kept you thoroughly engaged. A great read.

    Wow, if you love a great romance that keeps you glued each page, this is the book for you! 

    First, let me say every single book I've read by Ann Simas left me spellbound at what an amazing book it was even a few titles I was worried I may not like of course I was proved way wrong. 

    This love story taking place with in the Christmas holiday made you wish for a wonderful man such as Sean, but also filled my heart with emotion, worry when there was a few misunderstandings, frightened things may go in the wrong direction, and then she sneaks up on you all this emotion and suddenly you have a few tears here and there, but then your cracking up at Lily's toddlers lines as Macey does her try at the English language and all this Ann writes it like you a fly on the wall of these character's lives and not just reading a book with characters in it. 

    Totally recommend this awesome holiday read!

    This book totally touched and warmed my heart! Such a great book to read right around the holiday season!

    Elf Lilly of Santa's Little Helper I adored her and her daughter. She really needed this job and luckily Sean D'Arcy needed her services. He had not even started his Christmas Shopping as of December 10th. It seemed like a win win situation! What a great job to have too!

    I loved the way Lilly gave a very detailed description of Sean. There was definitely an attraction on her end.

    Loved how sweet Sean was to Macey by showing Lily all the animated decos and Christmas lights. To see her so animated over the pop up Santa on the chimney made me smile ear to ear. Such an adorable little girl and an heart warming part of the book. Made me remember my childhood.

    This such a cute romance for Christmas. It had great characters, a pretty lady, a hot guy and a cute baby all wrapped up for Christmas. I really liked the storyline. The characters were were really the kind of people you would love to spend some time at the holidays. All in all a very feel good book.

    Santa's Helper was so wonderful. I read it Christmas eve and I'm so glad that I did. This was the perfect book for Christmas! So very romantic.

    Lily is a single mother trying to make ends meet. She is a graphic designer who also becomes Santa's helper for Christmas. She shops for others who don't have the time. When big time business owner, Sean D'Arcy, sees her flier, he knows that he has to hire her. There's just something about her that draws him in. Lily, however, has sworn off men and doesn't want a relationship. Sean is determined to convince her otherwise and keeps making gift lists to keep her around.

    Such a great book! I've never read anything by this author before, and honestly was extremely pleased. It was so very sweet. Definitely a must read!
