    This is a very quick short read and a great continuation in the Luke Juliet story. He is a Navy SEAL that was stationed in Afghanistan, after receiving injuries he has returned to the states. She's in fiance and wants so much to go see Luke but is not sure that is how he would want their first meeting to be like. It's an enjoyable and steamy continuation of the story but definitely ends in a cliffhanger.

    Wow!!! After meeting thru militarymates.com Luke and Juliet have a strong connection. They continue too email each other and she's quickly falling for him. She quickly falls into a routine of work, home and waiting to hear from Luke.
    Luke is eager to return home and possibly start something with Juliet until their seal team is ambushed, the newest and youngest seal member dies and he loses the use of one of his legs due to nerve damage.
    He emails her to let him know that he is coming home and under what circumstances...she's excited and ready to meet him and help him any way she can. He started to doubt himself and decides he's not ready for her to see him like that.
    Luke under estimates Juliets feelings, emotions and her resolve to be there for him. His therapist makes him see things different and he decides to come around.
    I absolutely loved it. Couldn't put it down. Look forward to book3.

    In the second book of Juliet and Luke's story has lots of emotional tension. Pride and frustration are the cause of much turmoil and drama between these two. The steam factor increases in this book and a real relationship begins to form but they are still far from the finish line and more drama and tests are coming.

    A sinopse é interessante mas a execução ficou a desejar.
    Casal, Juliet e Luke, se conhece pelo site de namoros on line enquanto ele ainda está na ativa. Ele é ferido em combate e volta ao seu país, porém evita encontrar Juliet por conta de seus ferimentos.
    Juliet, contudo, não se deixa abater e vai atrás de Luke, proporcionando o apoio que ele precisa.
    O livro é bem curto, uma novela, e nem assim o texto prendeu a minha atenção: personagens pouco desenvolvidos, diálogos sem naturalidade e algumas cenas amorosas que não pareceram reais.
    A história tem várias inconsistências do tipo: Juliet começa o capitulo usando um vestido verde e, ainda na mesma cena, de repente ela está vestindo saia e blusa. E por aí vai: Luke, ferido, andando com dificuldade e usando muletas, é capaz de ajoelhar sem problemas.
    Creio que faltou revisão final do texto para eliminar os excessos que tornavam essas cenas inverossímeis e um cuidadoso "polimento" do texto.
    Em resumo, um texto que pode ser proveitoso se o leitor não for exigente.
