Boost Your Self-Esteem and Confidence uses proven-effective methods including CBT, spiritual tools and evidence-based tips and techniques to help you raise low self-esteem. You’ll learn how to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy self-esteem, how to detect and analyze negative self-statements, and how to create new, more objective and positive self-statements to support your self-esteem rather than undermine it. "This book in conveniently broken into six steps. Each step covers practical aspects of how to empower a part of your life. I like the "Empower your spirit" section. It reminded me of my true north and how faith must remain at the centre of my life. Although everyone's values and beliefs are different, continuing to connect on a spiritual level is important to me. Coupled with this, I was reminded also about the need to live out my passions which I know feeds directly into me feeling good about myself. I was also interested to read about "embracing your flaws." I hadn't heard that term before, and so doing this takes the pressure off you having to try to be "perfect." All in all, this book causes you to think and question aspects of your life, and cause you to become a better version of you." ~ Amazon Review

- Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI'm always interested to read anything that can help build my self-esteem. Although I don't suffer from a low self-image, it never hurts to learn things to maintain a healthy level of self-confidence.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseLoved this book. The author kept her message powerful and clear. I think most of us go through bouts of low self-esteem and confidence no matter who you are and what you do. I am in the process of changing the focus of my practice and was not feeling very confident. This book provided the shot in the arm that I needed. I know I’ll be reading it again if I should feel my self-esteem waning. This book is like talking things over with a good friend. Someone who understands because she’s been there too.
P.S. Also LOVED the workbook!

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI loved this book. The section at the beginning on how to use this book helps readers get the most out of the book making it more of a transformational experience rather than just a reading experience. In it's aim to help us boost our self esteem and confidence, the book covers a whole range of relevant areas such as the importance of self love and later on meditation. The "Your Challenge" sections keep the reader on task and reminds us that we need to fully involve ourselves in this process if we are to achieve greater self esteem and confidence. I enjoyed the relevant references to authors such as Louise Hay and Deepak Chopra as well as the case studies such as Viktor Frankl which I found very interesting. The author's personal anecdotes make her work more credible too. I like the way the book covers the need for self care, stress relief, mindfood, spiritual connection and relationships. All in all a very useful and uplifting book. Well recommended.
