    This was book 1 in the "Severed MC" Eve goes to Australia to be the maid of honor for her best friend Teresa's wedding she is looking for a much needed break instead she witnesses a crime that puts her in danger.     Eve arrives in Australia ready to see her best friend and be part of her wedding. She is excited and even though her friend warned her to wait to be picked up, Eve decides to surprise her by renting a car. Never in her wildest dream did she expect to witness a murder and to have the VP of a corrupted MC determined to see her dead.

    VP of Severed MC Gabe "Angel" finds himself protecting Eve, but as much as he would like to be with her he can't. His twin and enemy is the man after Eve and Gabe has met more betrayal at the hands of his brother than anyone should in a lifetime. However Eve is getting under Gabe's skin and only his own ghosts are keeping them apart, it is only a matter of time before Game makes his move and he is determined to make Eve his old lady.

    This is a two part book. I thought this was fantastic, Eve has to endure quite a bit with being scared to death about being in danger, her attraction to Gabe, and some other surprising dynamics that unfold in the story. Read both books in one sitting, couldn't put it down.

    Eve witnesses a murder when she gets lost on her way to the Severed MC clubhouse to meet her best friend, Teresa who is marrying the club president. When Teresa learns her friend is in trouble, she sends the club. When they arrive, Satan and the other members of Carnal MC leave Eve threatening that she'll see them again. She's a witness to their crime and Satan doesn't let witnesses live.

    Severed's VP Angel/Gabe is the first to find Eve. He's immediately protective of her. She's fears him at first because she doesn't know that Angel and Satan are twins. She learns quickly Angel is nothing like his brother. She and Angel fall for each other as he tries to protect her from his brother. But she plans on going home to her daughter after she's safe and after the wedding. Angel will have to convince her to stay. But something happens before he has the chance.

    This is a fairly fast paced book. There are some twists, a snitch, and some typical biker book shootings. People get hurt and lives are lost as the club tries to protect Eve. You'll find yourself pulling for these two to be together. The members of Severed are great characters. I really liked Angel and Eve and you can't help but like Ink. Prez and Teresa are okay, although Teresa annoyed me at one point. But be warned, this book is a cliffhanger. However the next book in this series is already available, so you don't have to wait to see what happens.

However, there is a lot of potential for more and I will be buying the next book in the series. I love K T Fisher's books and this was a departure from her usual style. Very enjoyable and definitely recommended!

    I have to say, this book begins very strongly and the action doesn't ever stop. The MC brothers are all quite fun and sexy, all with their own history and personality. The women too are a very big part of the group. I liked Eve, how independent she was, determined to go her own way. As for Angel, very sexy and commanding alpha biker. Yummy !! The 2 together are not hot, they are burning!!
    As for the ending, it is killing me honestly. Can't wait for the next book to come.

    OMG this book was great, loved it. Eve walks into a very dangerous situation just after arriving in Australia for her friends wedding, it's so complicated that the spiral of events which it causes is tragic. Angel is the VP of Severed MC, walking into the store where he finds Eve turns into the worst and best thing that could have happened to him but will he be able to save the woman who has turned the MC's lives upside down??
    Wow this story has it all, great story, plot, amazing characters, great amount of angst, lots of hot sex, and a very sweet romance. There are some serious tragic moments but it's all part of this great MC read, and I devoured this story. Unfortunately the ending is the start of more angst so I need the next book ASAP. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves MC reads. Can't wait to see what happens next.
