Elaine A Gallagher
"A suspense novella, with a great twist and a wonderful love story. This is one I thoroughly enjoyed. Ax is gorgeous and so protective of Andrea. It's what we all love in our heroes."

About the author

Viv writes contemporary suspense as MacKade, and paranormal and fantasy romance as V.V. Strange.
In the breathtaking backdrop of the Pacific Northwest, MacKade captures all shades of love in her stories - its joy, passion, and darkness. Her husband and children are her biggest fans, and yes, she really doesn’t mind shoveling that snow.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2017I loved the characters and their love that was tested more than once. I read the book in one sitting because I could not put it down. I highly recommend this book. She is a very talented author.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2018This was an exciting read to me and I really enjoyed it. Recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2018The story was good, much better than her other book because it was shorter and didn't get bogged down in "nothingness" like Book 1. I gave this only two stars because the writing is awful. I'm a quarter way through and trying to decide whether to finish it or get a refund. Yeah the writing is that bad. it's hard to figure out what some sentences mean because of words left out, mixed up, or wrong words switched in place of the right word. Cliches are pretty bad too (intense and purposes for example). Grammar is non-existent. Subject-verb agreement is mostly incorrect and the sentence structure is confusing (let her feet splashing instead of letting her feet splash for example). The verb tenses are mixed up in many sentences. Ms MacKade needs an editor both both books so far and this one is a bit worse than the first one (though that one is pretty bad too). Seems like the more she writes, the worse it is. My editing services are available for any indie author. Why not make this book professional and outstanding by getting the writing edited? You can get in touch with me through my website (profbowman.com). I don't advertise my editing services so please send an email if you're interested.
