Simply Cooking: A Cookbook for the Simple Life Kindle Edition
After more than fifty years of cooking, I created this book of recipes to help new cooks and those who need fast, time-saving meals. What you won’t find in this cookbook are recipes using ingredients you’ll never use in another recipe. For the most part, these recipes use simple ingredients. Some may take a little longer to prepare, but the taste will be well worth it. If you want some recipes that will give you plain good eating, this is the cookbook for you.
Places to jot down dates when the recipes are tried and changes made to the recipe are right there on the page, and you won't hurt my feelings at all if you adjust the recipe to suit yourself. That's how many of my recipes came to be. The book is like a workbook for cooking.
Included in this book are useful pages on food equivalents, as well as household and cooking tips—things I’ve learned through the years from my mother and many others. Enjoy Simply Cooking.

About the author

About Sharon K Connell
Sharon K Connell was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Illinois, schooled in Illinois through College and Florida through Bible School, retired in Texas and enjoying every minute of it.
My time is spent doing a lot of things I've always wanted to have the time to do, including at least one or two hours daily writing stories about people who discover (as I have) that God will only allow those things into your life that will help you grow and/or increase your faith.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
At the age of twelve years old, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and have never been disappointed that I did. He has been with me throughout all trials and tribulations, most of which I brought on myself, and never once have I felt that He deserted me or doesn’t love me.
Humans, for the most part, have a way of convincing themselves that what they want is what God wants. Sometimes that’s true…but most often we have our own desires in mind and not our Lord’s.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. James 4:3
And yet sometimes God lets us have our own way even when it’s not His Will. That’s what gets us into trouble. I speak from experience. Yet, the Lord has blessed me beyond measure and always forgives me when I come to Him, just as a child when going against his earthly parent’s will and then feeling sorry that he did. I’ve learned that He will never forsake me.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5
In my writings, I’ve tried to bring out these truths. I hope that you will enjoy all that I’ve written, and it will be a blessing to you.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2022Simply Cooking by Sharon K. Connell is a cookbook well worth giving as a gift to a new bride or someone who has just got their first apartment and is now living on their own. I've made quite a few of the recipes and they are just as described: easy, convenient, and yummy! No need to run out to a specialty market for ingredients you've never heard of or need assistance in identifying. Just open your cabinet, and you will find what you need for any of the meals in this book. I highly recommend this for anyone on the go as well! 5 STARS!
