Jeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.

Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.

Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.

As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!

In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.

Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!

    Honestly, plotwise and conflict-wise, I feel like I have read this story before. Of course not exactly as it is but it feels familiar already. The way the story run, in general, is I'd say common in a romance novel like this one. But the characters were a different matter. The author was able to dress the story anew with the characters that she put into the story. They gave life to the story in a way that made it her own and not just another romance. I love the mix of people she has thrown together. And because of that, I really enjoyed reading it. I was anticipating their actions and reactions as I delve into it's pages. Moreover, I want to read more into this series so I can get to know the characters even more.

    All in all, I'd say the author did a really good job and I'd certainly wait for the next one.

    This is book 2 in the Desires Series. This is Mark's story. We first met Mark in book 1 when he arrived to check on his sister. Mark is military and has a keen eye and sense for danger and things out of place. He helped his sister out and was just taking some much needed R&R in between deployments when a local Sissie said her niece in Savannah could use some carpentary help with her home. Mark is all about helping other people so mark starts communicating with Hannah and he takes the job. Mark sets off and once he arrives his "spidey senses" kick in and something just doesn't feel right but he cannot pinpoint it. When he actually sees the job he knows it is well beyond his level of repairs so he calls his friend Don who has taught him everything he knows. All during this time, Mark is fighting the feelings he has developed for Hannah as he is married to the Navy he doesn't have feelings and will NEVER have those type of feelings. Once his friend arrives his friend sees right through him but Mark still denies anything. I think he is trying to convience himself! Mark continues to have strange vibes about the one tennant and is determined to find out more. It drives him nuts that she is not careful enough for his liking. Mid construction Hannah's best friend Bailey arrives and conviences her they need a vacation. Hannah agrees to go to visit her Aunt in Texas. Mark decides this job has to be done by Hannah's return because he needs to be gone. He has put his running shoes on and is running fast. First because of his growing feelings for Hannah but more importantly because when she sees all the work and stuff that has been done she is going to flip including paying off her mortgage. Don tells Mark this cannot be accomplished in such short time with just the 2 of them and conviences him to let Don call in his team they can get everything done while they leave for Mark's sister (Casey from book 1) wedding. Mark agrees. Little does Mark and Hannah know but they are being set up by Bailey, Don, Sissie and his sister Casey because they see what they refuse to admit. Sparks fly in Texas but then quickly die. Instead of going back to Georgia they go the Rhode Island. All I will say from here is things really heat up and get crazy. I don't want to say more because I already feel as tho I am giving too much away. Enjoy the book and I look forward to book 3 which is Don's story.
