- Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2012This was a good, very short, read. I am half-way through the authors "Necropolis Rising" and am enjoying it a great deal so far. The only reason I wouldn't pay a dollar for this little read is because of its length. It is a decent story.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2012This is a very fast paced short story set during the Vietnam war. It is well written but I give it 3 stars because it is so short and fast you don't get to know the characters. Interesting idea and good for a short read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2012I could not get past the first ten pages of this book. I downloaded it because it was free and I am so glad I didnt pay for it! Very boringggg!

5.0 out of 5 stars (Dis)armed
Dave Jeffery continues to create new and challenging storylines for the Undead to roam in. Splatoon is a familiar idea with familiar themes that underlies the brief, but intense encounter with the zombies and "scientists" who created them. Dave has a fresh and comfortable "voice" that adds incredible pathos to the Undead Genre. High recommend!

4.0 out of 5 stars Vietnam War Zombie Mayhem
I loved this prequel short story to 'Necropolis Rising'. The jungles of Vietnam are an excellent setting for zombie mayhem, and those scenes are all handled with aplomb. If you're at all familiar with 'Necropolis Rising', you'll know you're in good hands here.
I'd love to see an entire novel set in this world - I think we need to petition Dave Jeffery for a prequel novel!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great short story
This certainly builds up the pace for the Necropolis rising series that Dave has wrote. It's a page turner and worth a read, if you're a zombie fan I thoroughly recommend this book and the others in the series. See how it all starts
