The fourth book in the Stark Security series will have readers on the edge from beginning to end with Antonio and Emma’s story. Antonio had a rough childhood and is on the hunt for the man who killed his mother and uncle, aka The Serpent. Emma is a woman with a past who did everything she knew how to keep herself and her sister alive while vowing to get revenge on those involved. In some ways, Antonio and Emma are two peas in a pod that now have come together in a common goal when new information comes to light as to the whereabouts of The Serpent. When Antonio first lays eyes on Emma, he knew that there is something about her and their chemistry is off the charts. The attraction makes their mission easier as they head to a private sex island to seek out the informant. All is going well until, some unexpected information arises that could essentially derail this budding partnership. Can two people with trust issues get their happily ever after? This is one intense and well written storyline filled with action and adventure. Emma is a tough cookie who can bring anyone to heel and Antonio is her perfectly imperfect match. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

    This is the story of Antonio (Tony) & Emma. Tony works on his own. He has a lot of years invested in finding a killer. He is on the hunt for someone who killed the people in his life. He has a lead, but he needs a woman to go with him, so he asks Damien Stark for one of his in the firm. Emma just started work for Stark Security. Her and her sister lived a hard life, but she got involved with missions and was a PI. She is assigned to go with Tony. Even though this was a very serious mission, and a personal one on both their parts, there was humor between the two of them. It was refreshing to read. Emma is holding back one big secret, but it's not her story to tell. They have a very strong attraction between them, but neither wants to acknowledge it at the beginning. There is mystery, suspense, action, banter and love. What I love about this series, is all the characters are always in it and interact as a team. The writing is always superb. I loved this series. I can't wait to read Winston's story.

    What a great addition to the Stark Security series!! I loved the plot, and the fact that the first part of this story takes place on a hedonistic pleasure island was a welcome bonus!!

    Let's talk about Tony. He had a horrible childhood, with bad things happening to those he loved. He's spent most of his adult life looking for vengeance and now, he's so close he can taste it. He's' been so focused on it for so long, he never thought about what would happen after he finishes the job. Until now. She changed everything. I love how he is with her. She pushes his buttons, and he pushes right back. The banter is great and only stokes the fire between them.

    Now, we have Emma. Boy, is she one tough cookie. She's skilled in covert ops and could probably kill you with her pinky. Being paired up with Tony on this mission turns out to be the best and most frustrating assignment ever. You can feel her desire for him, but she keeps him at arms length, well, emotionally anyway. Physically? Oh yeah, she can't have him close enough! I loved her snarkiness, her devotion to her sister, and her loyalty to her team and the mission.

    Boy, do these two have sparks!! If I were Emma I don't think I'd ever have enough of Tony. Ever!! Talk about heat!! The fact that they have a common interest in their current target could either bring them closer together, or tear them apart. Which one is it? You'll have to read it to find out!

    I enjoyed reading this book. It contained plenty amounts of danger and suspense throughout. It showed clearly how childhood experiences shape the adults we become. The two main characters are active operatives being ''head hunted' by the Stark Security Agency (SSA). But each still want to retain their individual identity and some level of autonomy. It is obvious that they felt some attraction to each other from a distance, even before they were introduced. Is there any chemistry?

    Antonia Santos is an alpha male. He is handsome, charismatic, sexy and dangerous. He prefers to work on his own but has mad skills which he uses in and out of the bedroom. Emma Tucker our heroine is feisty with gorgeous red hair. She is strong willed and expertly capable of looking after herself in life and death situations. And just the partner Antonia needs to accompany him on a mission to find an elusive villain. She objects to being asked to be 'arm candy' on his trip to a exclusive private love island. But why does she eventually agree. And what experiences and secrets do they both have in common.

    Well, I strongly suggest you get this book and find out for yourself. It's a MUST read.

    Another great in the Stark spin off series , I do love reading everything Stark related . In this we find that Antonio Santos ( Tony to his friends ) the person who helped Damien & Nikki out of a tight spot in Paris a few years earlier who’s now calling in the favour that Damien promised him .To say that Tony didn’t have the best of upbringings is the understatement of the century , certainly after the death of his mother his life with his father was nothing but horrific . As soon as his uncle was killed ( although it wasn't really his uncle he just called him that ) he left home he was somewhat relieved later on to learn of his father’s death . Tony became a member of the disbanded Deliverance organisation but since they disbanded he was now working freelance in righting wrongs . There’s one person from Tony’s past that he longs to eliminate permanently and he goes by the name of “The Serpent” he's been looking for him ever since he found out that his father had hired him kill his Mother & Uncle . Until now Tony has had no idea how to find him that’s until he gets information obtained from the Dark Webb . The problem is that he has to meet the contact on the private sex island of Debauchery . To go there he’ll need a woman to play the part of his girlfriend , knowing he’ll need a woman that can handle herself in a situation, he approaches Damien who immediately offers him the services of one of his operatives Emma Tucker . Emma as it turns out had a horrible upbringing similar to Tony but she was abused in the most heinous way by her father . When she found out that he’d sold her& her younger sister Eliza to another man they made their escape during the escape she pushes her father down the stairs which kills him . Now the siblings were homeless and penniless they are forced to live on the streets and being the elder Emma was doing every unthinkable thing to survive . When she was arrested & convicted she was handed the death penalty . Luckily someone offered her a deal which she took and became something similar to what Tony had become ,but now was working for Damien Stark . Needless to say when she meets Tony it does not to go too well , but Tony sees something he likes in her ballsy attitude and tries to coax her to go with him . Can these two work together and what will happen when more secrets in Emma’s past come out especially one that’s a little too close to home fie Tony will they finally both get the closure they both deserve . ........ can’t wait for the next one .....Winston’s story 😉
