What a great book that everyone has to read. I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in submarines.

Story line was a bit far fetched but descriptions of ship board life and conditions were good.

I like Wingate’s novels generally but his endorsement of the UN is misplaced. The last entity that the U S should trust is the UN.

Unable to follow sequences. To choppy. Wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. I've read Wingate extensively. Is he really the author of this book?

I finally gave up on this series near the beginning of book five, after giving up hope that it would get better. There is nothing wrong with the author’s writing skills, or I would never have gotten this far. It’s just that these aren’t the submarine sea stories that the titles, cover art, and written introductions seem to promise. Rather, they are land-centered spy and adventure stories wrapped in a thin veil of a submarine novel.

I found that at times the story lines in "Sub-Zero "meant you had to stretch your imagination a bit & that they were a little surreal.
I enjoyed it as part of the continuation of the "Submariner Sinclair " series, which is why I give it three stars, but I think if I had read it as a 'Standalone ' book I would probably only give it two & any reader should take this into consideration. The series as whole is good, but this book (in my opinion) is not one of the authors best
