However, about 2 weeks ago a friend recommended Paradise by @jalowbooks I read the first 6 chapters and was hooked. The only problem was I wanted to know about the Dirty Texas boys.     I love a good rock star romance. But this book has two major issues. Not much of a plot so there is about half the book just filler. Long detailed explanations of everyday events that have nothing to do with the story. Secondly, while there are lots of sex scenes they are just the same scene repeated. One wonders if the author even cut and paste the scenes. Plus Their whole relationship is sex to the point they seem like sex addicts. This book started out strong but then limped along to a boring end.

    Great book, grab me from the start. I liked Evan and Sienna from start, both characters are great! I liked how the whole relationship developed, I loved the sense of family around the band and all their friends. I loved the banter , I loved Derrick and all the fun around the story.As bonus we got bonus chapters how their relationships develops after their HEA- their lives, wedding, child birth. Why I put 4.5 stars? Because in those bonus chapters it was mentioned quite a few times about receiving presents- for the baby, for her, for him, for their friends and obviously expensive presents. I don’t mind the expensiveness, obviously they are a band so they have millions and it’s not my first book where I read about millionaires/billionaires and so on. What I did mind it became too much for me showing their love or appreciation by expensive gift or materialising those feelings. Derrick dream is apparently to have Rolex, that put a bit of downer on his character by the author. Maybe I’m wrong but that is my opinion that in the end the materialisation was too much. Otherwise, really loved the book and will be starting the next one.

    It is shown in this book that past experience makes it really hard to trust sometimes even with the right person. As it's said by the author... "He was everything she wasn’t looking for and She was everything he wasn’t ready for."
    Evan and Sienna never realized they were missing part of each other until they had to break apart. They had to slay the demons of their past to have a future.
    It was really generous of the author to give "Suddenly More" which is 1.5 of the book where you read more about the happy couple.
    How can you forget Derrick he is like THE ultimate best friend a person can have. Eagerly waiting to read about him.
