Hello,

My name is Krystal and I'm addicted to books! The magically wild world of books is what keeps me somewhat sane. As my hubby points out almost daily, if it weren't for my love for our kids (as I write this they are 7 and 4 years old) I would gladly live in my mind. I take that as a compliment as that means the plots running amok in my mind are so awesome I'd love to live in any of them!

One thing you need to know about my writing: I describe my books as you being on a rollercoaster ride. At times, you will want to laugh, cry, curse (at a character or me) or celebrate. Also, if the book is part of a series, there will always be questions left unanswered, which I will address later on in following books. And if it is part of a series then it will end in a cliffhanger.

If you don't know where to start I'd suggest you pick up Unforeseen, Fortuitous and Alpha Queen, which are all free!

    I think this is probably going to be my favorite series. She does have a well laid out plot, but just when you think things are going to go one way she throws you a curve ball and then a cliffhanger. And there again she has the ability to pull you into the book and sometimes it seems like you're riding right along with the characters. I don't think I've had this kind of reaction before from reading a book, it's gone from happy and laughing to tears and then even sometimes screaming at my book! All I can say is hurry up with the next one!!

    Even better than book 1. I like how the book moves quickly through time which allows the characters to grow and the storyline to become deeper. Again, I couldn't book the book down. This isn't just a book about shifters, but about love, family, destiny, and honor. Though there is fighting, there are also moments of sexual tension and excitement. Must read.

    Something about it draws you in, all in all its ok, but it seems to rise above. however mating with the tiger seems to contradict the story line, hopefully it can be joined in book 3.

    I have never written a review before and I read several books a day. I hate that it will be a bad one but I felt so strongly about the problems in this story I had to write one. The writing is not the issue though it's the story in general. I enjoyed the 1st book it was a nice set up for the series and I liked the different take on shifters. However I felt like after reading the 1st we were being setup to have a strong powerful kick a$$ heroine, those are my favorites! Except we didn't, the only time she was awesome was when she handled her sister the traitor. I thought she was supposed to be one of the most powerful shifters, when did we see that happen? My perception was she would be able to shift, never read about that taking place in the book either. My biggest issue, which caused me to not finish the book was when she deliberately gets herself kidnapped to save her people. I can appreciate that, even respect it however she gets 6 of her guards killed to pull of the kidnapping without leading the kidnapper being suspicious of her plan and then has sex with the kidnapper 5 minutes later! Seriously, I don't care if there's a quote on quote logical reasoning for it, I don't buy that she's supposed to be the strongest feline shifters mate therefore it's ok because that's him! She already has a mate except that never causes her an ounce of regret, she doesn't resist at all and sleeps with him several times it's ridiculous. I stopped reading after that, it's a shame I enjoyed the premise even if the heroine didn't seem as heroic as I assumed she was supposed to be. Writing was well done but story line fell well short for me and I won't read the next. I'll give it 2 stars but that's just for the writer not the story I would give that 1 maybe.
