"I can't believe she did and she didn't give up ANY of Lorhaven's behavior elements or chemistries from past books. The author, of course, incorporated them and expanded on them. It was brilliantly written - call it swag, hot, sizzle, whatever you want - it's all those and more written in a storyline that flows with the Gearshark Series." - Verified Purchase Review
"There's such a strong message behind #Swag. You don't have to be strong alone or in silence. There is someone to help you carry that strength. Stories with strong messages always have an impact and #Swag sure packs a punch." - Verified Purchase Review

I wouldn't go sofar as to say an Elise was rare, but I don't think I'd ever seen one here inMaryland.
I stepped up to itand let my fingertips trail along the hood, noting the engine was still warmand hoped GearShark had brought it asa prop for the shoot.
Maybe they'd let me drive it.
I loved mySkyline, it was the best, but this car was... captivating.
"You like?" avoice behind me drawled.
I was stillspellbound by the way the sun sparkled off the white. "It's freaking sex onwheels." I sighed.
"That good?"
I perked up,jerked my fingers back and spun. The stupid heels I was wearing almost tossedme on my ass but I threw out a hand and steadied myself on the car I justequated to sex on wheels. "You." I intoned.
"I got a name, sweetheart," he drawled, in a smartass kind of way that he probably thought wassexy.
"Call mesweetheart again and your balls will become intimately acquainted with myfoot."
He grinned a slow,self-satisfied kind of smile, like my promise to dent in his boys was somehow aturn on.
My stomach dippeda little.
"Just can't keepyour hands off her, can you?" he motioned toward the car I was still leaning onfor support.
I pulled my handback and straightened.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2016Let's start with the cover - I saw it for the first time and my eyes popped out and couldn't believe how hot it was and then I stopped and cringed because it was....Lorhaven??? I mean how are you going to write a story after writing about those 2 beautiful men (that would be Trent & Drew) and have it be about....Lorhaven.
She did!
I can't believe she did and she didn't give up ANY of Lorhaven's behavior elements or chemistries from past books. The author, of course, incorporated them and expanded on them. It was brilliantly written - call it swag, hot, sizzle, whatever you want - it's all those and more written in a storyline that flows with the Gearshark Series.
"How long had I wanted to hear what he just said? How deep did my feelings of not being good enough go? Deep.
So deep I was pretty sure they were the roots from which the rest of my character grew from. I never realized how wholly those words would heal something inside me."
Both characters, Joey and Lorhaven have been around since the first book of the Gearshark Series began and I never would've guessed to put the 2 together at the time. (so frustrated bc I want to spoil it all right now, can you tell I just finished and could reread it) Here you have 2 huge alpha dogs both male and female - pigheaded, rich, but one is best friends with the others nemesis or are they? Does Lorhaven even have a heart? Well, I think I can at least answer that - YES! believe it or not, it's there somewhere, I swear to you!
"I swayed a little on my feet. His words were like piercing arrows that hit their mark in the deepest part of me, the most tender flesh."
Lorhaven has officially become one of my favorite characters because of this book. He always intrigued me and that's being nice - because of that when I found out there was a book about him coming out, there were a few fist pumps involved. By any means, do not think the author turned him into a teddy bear, no no no no, HA! and I wouldn't want her too. No, the author wrote his character just as you would hope. Joey also stayed her awesome, kickbutt, alpha self. Her role in this book wasn't just romantic but played a major roll in the intensity of the situations that revolved around the storyline itself - and the author! stuck to her same formula - gosh, her attention to detail is incredible and that's why she has endless fans (well, from what I see from her other books and online networks).
sidenote: She even had me Google'ing facts while I was reading.
All in all and without giving anything away, #Swag was over and above enjoyable! I'm still floating on my #Swag cloud! It definitely is a must read but so aren't the others, although technically I would say this could be read by itself because the author brings you "in the know" so you wouldn't have to worry. Excellent book, can't wait for ....... (you'll have to read it to know what I know)
- Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 20174 stars — This book had an up and down vibe for me. There were parts where I felt like it dragged a bit, but then there were parts that were just over the top amazing for me. So perhaps it’s really a 3.5 star read, but I just loved the ending so much, and it’s amazing how much the way a book ends can affect your opinion of it, you know? So I’m going with full 4 stars anyways. I rate on gut feeling anyways, so I guess I should go with my gut.
I will say that I’m not convinced that the Lorhaven we met in this book matched the Lorhaven we saw in #Junkie and #Rev. Which is I guess sort of the point, we’re supposed to look at him more closely and see him more deeply. And I totally did! I really actually fell in love with the Lorhaven we meet in this book…but we didn’t meet Lorhaven did we? We met Jace. And I will caveat that I feel like there’s a disconnect between the two, there’s something missing from really allowing me to mesh these two together. It’s not that you don’t see the ruthless side of him. But I felt like his reasons for the illegal betting/gambling were just kind of glossed over, and weren’t enough for me. And I can’t figure out why the man we meet in this book would have chased after Drew in #Junkie…but I might be forgetting an explanation that occurred in Trew’s books, since it’s been a few months since I reread them. Basically what I’m saying is that if I look at him as a character solely from this book, I have no problems. But if I look at him as a whole, I don’t feel like his character arc is believable.
Those stipulations aside, I LOVED Jace. I loved the way he cared for his brother, how fiercely he loved him. I loved that he made no apologies for his jerk-like nature, and that we did get to see how much of his personality was a front to maintain control. I loved that while we got to see his good qualities, Ms. Hebert didn’t make all his bad qualities magically disappear. And while I wasn’t completely won over by the speed and reasons he fell for Joey (or Josie as he calls her), I LOVED the way he fell in love with her…the way he cared for her, and how he is fierce in his love for her as well. He was just very no-nonsense, and straightforward, which kind of surprised me.
Joey tried my patience at times. There was a lot to love about her as well, she was a passionate woman dealing with so many struggles, both internally and externally. My heart broke for her and how she saw her relationship with her father, and how she struggled to prove her worth in the face of insurmountable odds. I LOVED how comfortable she was in her sensuality, and yet how innocent she was in love. She was a strange mix of strong and vulnerable, and in general I thought it was done very well. The climax of her story had my heart aching, and I loved the way she learned to lean on Jace, and open up to him and her father.
BUT. But. I’m the kind of girl that doesn’t believe it’s OK for women to hit men without provocation. And there was a part earlier in the book that just tweaked me. She slams her pointed heel into Jace’s foot and slaps him across the face for his jerk nature (“calling her sweetheart”). Maybe it’s just me, but that is NOT a good enough reason to resort to violence. And that bothered me. To a lesser degree, there is another moment where I’m not thrilled with her physical violence, but I could give more of a pass (the street race). At least there she had slightly better reasons, but I honestly hate it when a woman can physically assault a man and no one chides her, but when the man comes after her, everyone talks about how it’s wrong to hit a woman. Uh, it’s kind of wrong to hit anyone, regardless of gender. I get not everyone feels this way, and it’s not an issue I’m super passionate about (not enough to ruin a book for me), but it is something that bugs me. (and no, I had no problems with the stuff in the climax…totally different circumstances)
The chemistry between Jace and Josie was fantastic. You could really feel their attraction, and the steamy scenes were awesome. And I really felt the development of their feelings for each other. I thought the progression was natural and I loved getting to really see it happen. I loved how they understood each other intrinsically, and how in most cases they brought out the best in each other.
And I loved getting to see so many characters that we already love, and ones I can already see myself falling more in love with. This book sets up nicely for Arrow and Hopper’s book, I can’t wait to dive into it!
I can honestly say I enjoyed this story more than I had anticipated. And while it was not all rainbows and unicorns, the things I loved outweighed my niggles this time.

5.0 out of 5 stars She's done it again!
Cambria Hebert has once again written an amazing novel. I think we can all agree that Lorhaven was not our favourite in the previous Gearshark novels, but #Swag definitely shows you a different side and I'm certain you'll fall in love with him too. I also loved hearing Joey's story.
Their relationship is so sweet but they're perfect for each other! Their relationship does take over this book, which I didn't mind but the action came out at me and shocked me a bit. (The point perhaps?)
But I did love #Swag. I love how Cambria shines light on underdogs and I can't wait for Arrow's story!

5.0 out of 5 stars I absolutely loved this book
I have to say Cambria has out done herself again with this book. I absolutely loved this book, I've loved all the books within the #hashtag and #gearshark and this was no different.
Cambria writes in such away that you are drawn into the story from the first page to the last and leaves you wanting more. You find yourself relating to characters within the books and it was no different with Lorheaven and Joey. I finished this story within one sitting I just couldn't put it down.
If you haven't read any of Cambria's books you are missing out!!!!
I would recommend reading from the #nerd and go though the series as you learn about the characters within the story.
Well Done Cambria on another brilliant story and I'm looking forward to the next one within the series. Keep them coming!!!

I wasn't sure I was gonna like Lorhaven but I still wanted to give it a try because come on, it's Cambria Hebert we are talking about here.
I didn't just like the book, I freakin' loved it. Ok I admit no one can take Drew and Trent' s place in my heart, but Josie and Jace are a really close second.
Can't wait for the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing!
Love reading about Joey & Jace. Drew & Trent are still part of the story along side Arrow Jaces' brother.
Cambria is an amazing author and as much as I would like to tell you more about this book I can't spoil it for you.
Just get it & read it you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to the next one
