About the Author

Wray Ardan lives on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with an artist, four cats, and a parrot. Many of her story ideas have been inspired by sculptures created by her partner, artist Steven Lee Smeltzer. "Life is a journey and we have always tried to remain open to new experiences. Steven and I have set up a creature shop for a computer animation company in Florida; worked as associate producers and set designers on a television pilot; had our characters featured in the young children's CGI movie." Inspired by the amazing young adults that are dedicated to having a positive impact on the world around us, Ardan started the blog, DaKine Teens+ that highlights teens that are Pono. Da Kine is Hawaiian Pidgin, meaning, "The Kind." Pono is Hawaiian for "Do the right thing."
