A wedding goes wrong and the Roseland Sisters are on the case as a Bride -to -be finds herself with a murdered groom. This novel is filled with romance, mystery, and a wedding party that is filled with reasons to 'Stop! This Wedding!' The cats are along as the Chief of Police asks Angie and party to help him out. Heck, even the Man of Honor is receiving Death Treats.

At the ending a sense of romance is high in the air and I truly love this gentle true 'Cozy.' This series as with the 'Lin Coffin Haunted Mysteries' wins my approval for the gentle paranormal overtones, but, I'm also drawn in because I love the family. I would so have wanted to belong to a group of loving and accepting sisters. Can you tell I'm an only child? It may be fiction but it fills a void in my world while the outside world is filled with turmoil.

Angie asked to supply the wedding cake and desserts, for the wedding of two uber rich families daughter and son, while Courtney is asked to supply a choice of treats for the gift bags, Jenna is to make some jewelry for the wedding party, and Ellie is to act as a wedding consultant to help organize the quickly approaching event.
Senator Winston is worth over two billion dollars, while the Nelson's: the grooms' family, is worth even more. Bethany Winston is engaged to Nelson Rider because that is what is expected of her, even though she is in love with someone else. Nelson is nefarious as a player. Could one of his affairs, or side dealings be the cause of the murder?
J.A. Whiting wrote a great tale with lots of suspense, a bit of humor, and even some romance built in. It was a fun read and a list of suspects that made it difficult to figure out the murderer until the big reveal.

The four Roseland sisters and Mr. Finch have been invited to cater a lavish wedding. Two wealthy families have arranged this wedding for political and business advantages. The trouble is that the intended bride and groom don't love each other and don't want to go along with their family's plans. To make matters worse, groom-to-be Nelson Rider is shot a few days before the wedding is scheduled to take place.

Police Chief Martin asks the four Roseland sisters and Mr. Finch to help solve the murder, along with their two cats. He knows that they all have psychic abilities and they have helped him solve four previous cases.

This is another well plotted mystery in the series, with several suspects and unexpected twists and turns. These books are enjoyable and hard to put down.

I forgot how much I missed visiting Sweet Cove since I haven't read anything in the series for quite a while. I love the characters and feel like I'm coming home to old friends...and two fine felines, of course!

I wasn't totally sure most of the book on the whodunit, but I started getting a suspicion that turned out correct. I love how Angie and Jenna got the whole take down set up and didn't even have to be there. The ending was sweet as could be expected for a town named Sweet Cove, and a happy couple got their happily ever after, and another couple just got started on that journey! I need to visit again soon!

I love the main characters in this series. The relationship the sisters and the significant people (and felines) in their lives share is delightful. I love the close, small town flavor of the stories and the way the characters seem to encourage and support each other. It's nice to have a fresh, complicated mystery without having it filled with excessive sex or violence. Well done, J A Whiting!

Not one of my favourites in the series. The plot was really thin but the characters and their feline companions saved the day. A wedding should be a joyous occasion for the bride and groom but this seems to be the opposite here. Each has their own agenda and don't communicate with the other. Then the murder of the groom throws the bride's real love into the frame. Can the sisters and their cats plus Mr Finch get to the real culprit. The culprit was really obvious and the plot really could have done with a bit more intrigue but the view of the sisters lives still kept me rivated.
