    I enjoyed this story a lot. Poor Lou! Kicked out of Mer paradise and separated from his love for centuries, until... Don't want to spoil anything but suffice to say this is a fun, quick read with just the right amount of spice, and a happy ending for all concerned.

    Short and adorable. A merman has been pining for the love he lost when he was banished from the sea by an evil queen. Now he runs a tourist mermaid school and when a woman who looks very like his lost love attends, he's smitten.

    There's just enough of everything in this tiny story--world building, romance and mermaids. However, something had to give in a story this size and the characters aren't terribly vibrant. We don't learn much about the heroine in particular. But that's okay. If you're looking for a very quick read featuring mermaidy goodness in the wake of Aquaman, you won't be disappointed.
