    Holy Smokes!!! Claire Contreras has managed to give us a super sexy and sweet story in just a short novella... I loved The Naughty Princess.

    Sweet Princess Pilar is no match for sexy footballer Benjamin Drake.. these two have so much smoking hot chemistry.. They just fit together so well. While both are no stranger to being recognized, Ben tries to keep his private life completely off limits to the public. Dating the Princess of France will definitely make that difficult. Making it work will be a challenge but being together is important.

    After reading the first book, The Sinful King, we know that Claire can write a Royal book spectacularly! She’s given us another phenomenal book that I wish was longer!!! I’m impatiently waiting Aramis’ book!

    And... there is a cameo from my all time favorite footballer!!!

    If you are looking for something sexy, steamy and little bit naughty, this novella ticks all the boxes. Even though this is a shorter book, it really packs in all feels and drama I love about royal romances. Princess Pilar, the good girl of the royal family, always staying out of the tabloids and never bringing shame to the legacy, wants to be a little naughty for once. Her crush on Football Star Benjamin Drake just might be the one thing she can’t resist getting into a little trouble for. A little naivety and innocence plagues her decisions and actions throughout the book, but she matures as she falls more in love.

    “Who would have known that underneath it all, you’re such a naughty princess?”

    Ben has a reputation with the ladies and a string of ex’s, some of whom are less than discreet with their dislike of his new love affair with the Princess. This leads to a good amount of drama and surprises but the steamy scenes with Pilar definitely left me satisfied. A quick, fun read that I finished in a day that had me smiling at some surprise appearances of past favorite characters.

    They are interesting characters, but you have to get past the mistakes Ben has made in his past to truly like him. I think l he’s a man who wants to do the right thing, but life has thrown him some difficult times.

    The ending is good. It is worth the read.

    My Thoughts: Princess Pilar has always been hidden in the shadows compared to her brothers. They've often been able to run wild with their exploits and holidays. Tired of always following the rules, she decides to let loose and enjoy a holiday where she has always been forbidden. Ben is a futball star, who now has status and is a bit of a ladies' man. They both want each other, knowing that Pilar's crown obligation won't lead to anything more than a casual hookup. This book has some top-tier spicy scenes. The chemistry and tension between these two is undeniable. This book has romantic suspense, royalty, single parenting, chemistry, tension, and spice. I loved reading Pilar and Ben's story.

    I absolutely loved this sweet and sexy romance by Claire Contreras. If you read The Sinful King, then you already know Pilar as Elias’ sister. After reading The Sinful King, I realized I needed ALL of their stories, each side character from that book intrigued me in different ways. Pilar because she seemed to be the protected little sister; almost sheltered....not able to live her life due to who she was and the things expected of her.

    Being royalty means you’re expected to act a certain way both in and out of the public’s eye, this is never a problem for Princess Pilar...until Ben Mackenzie comes along. Nevermind, that she’s had a crush on him for years or that everyone is aware of said crush but THIS TIME he is giving her the exact kind of attention that she wants. She’d be insane to turn him away. What starts out as innocent and just a bit of extra fun quickly turns serious as both Ben & Pilar try to find a way for their worlds to co-exist. Only problem is Ben has secrets and just wait until Pilar finds out about these secrets! My heart might have initially broke for one of these characters but ultimately I was sad at what both would lose out on.

    I loved the attraction between these two and swooned over how quickly Ben stood up to Pilar’s brothers. Even though Pilar has to maintain a certain image in public, I LOVE how she quickly learns to deal with Ben’s past in a way that leaves their jaw on the floor.

    I truly enjoyed this royal world and can’t wait for more!!! The Naughty Princess can be read as a standalone but if you are a royal trope lover you can also read The Sinful King; book 1 in this Naughty Royals series by Claire Contreras

    I wanted to start off by saying that although this is a novella based on the world of the Naughty Royals series, it can absolutely be read alone. I love Claire Contreras' writing so I knew this was going to be great. I have not gotten around to reading The Sinful King yet but you better believe it I one clicked that story right after I finished reading this gem.
    Princess Pilar and Benjamin's story though it's quick it is packed with a lot of feels. And it also helps that I LOVE all things Royals.
    This story is DEFINITELY a must read.

    This book was everything that I need to be. It’s a royal romance, full of love, freedom, romance and the quick read that I wanted. I was able to read in one sit. And most important is the book sequence from The Sinful King, one of my favorites of this year.

    I love everything about Princess Pilar and Benjamin Drake’s story. Pilar always followed the royal rules, the perfect example. Now that her brother was the King of France, she just wanted a little freedom and to go to a vacation to enjoy herself just like her brothers, Elias and Aramis, did and do since forever. Off she goes to Ibiza, just to find there her eternal crush Benjamin Drake.

    Ben is a famous footballer (or soccer player), a well known womanizer and Aramis friend. He always had a thing for Pilar but never acted on it because he has some secrets from his past that he just didn’t want to show everyone. And being with Pilar is risk to put everything in the open.

    I loved how they helped each other to grow and to open their hearts for their future. It was a growing relationship and although all the things that could go wrong they are just there for each other, they only need to let go some fears behind.

    I love Pilar and Ben together, their chemistry was insane and it was beautiful to read how they navigate through their feelings. I was so happy to have some tidbits about Elias, Adeline, Joss, Aramis and others... I missed them! I’m just hoping that Claire decides to write Aramis book, I love him and I’m sure his book would be a good fun!
