    Novels featuring bdsm are usually hit or miss for me. Sometimes the stories are just eroticas or sometimes the relationships seem abusive. Writing a good bdsm romance is hard because many don't know how to show the intimacy, respect, and mutual pleasure. Most of the time it's just smut. Anna stone usually does a good job. She builds the romance into the story and her relationships are healthy for both parties.

    One problem she has had in the past is while I loved her irresistible bound I felt they where at times too short and since they only had one perspective something always felt missing with the other character the domme side of the story.
    In this one you get both perspectives and the story is longer. What I liked about this is getting the domme side of things. I liked how you got see yyovona change in her character and domme style. While she was always a careful domme and she gave her subs what they need but she was all about what she wanted rather then caring about what made her sub happy. She was selfish and closed off. But at time went by she changed.
    I won't go to far into it but I did like it. My one complaint is I did wish to see more of the romance rather then the domme/sub aspect. To me that's just spice. I wanted to see more of them when they where not sceneing.

    I don't even know how to begin this review because this book is crazy hot. You get the usual with Anna with well-developed characters and an amazing storyline. She takes us a little bit deeper into the BDSM world, which I was happy to go along on that ride. Yvonne has some very particular tastes that can’t be satisfied by just anyone. In walked Ruby trying to bust into Yvonne’s life and bed against her will…or is it? The connection that these two share is instant. They both have an innate need for BDSM which makes the sex scenes sizzle off the page.
    What I loved even more is how Anna was able to highlight the character complexities of both Yvonne and Ruby. These two women have so much going on individually that I found myself cheering for them the entire time. This book is about so much more than just a romance and BDSM. I didn't think it would be possible to replace my favorite book written by Anna, but Tangled Vows has just hit number 1 for me. Definitely recommend.

    I'm a big fan of Anna Stone's books. I read Laid Bare which was a preview of things to come with this trilogy. Some of the characters introduced in that story were in Tangled too. Ruby is sort of a nontraditional rags-to-riches escort who finds herself married to Yvonne after they share a bottle of scotch. It was a drunken decision they both made and though they are keeping this strictly business, there is chemistry. Little by little, they both fall for each other. I honestly don't know if this is a thing because I know very little about the BDSM world, but as they develop a sex life together it is tender. Yvonne is concerned with Ruby's reactions and discovering the tenderness in this world where control and submission seem harsh is wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a hot romance story that delves deep into what they characters think and their motivation. I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review... but I also purchased a copy as well, so you can tell I really love it and look forward to the rest of the trilogy.

    What at first seems like an outlandish premise for a story has plausibility from mainstream stories, with a twist of BDSM thrown in. While the beginning may have been a little weak, the story did find its feet. Could it happen? Well it does start in Vegas, and as the saying goes "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". But seriously it's not beyond the realm possibility for something like that to happen in Vegas.
    As for the rest of the story, it gets better with every page turned. We see just how relationships can become more than what they start out as, while having exposure to the BDSM world as its supposed to be.

    This was my second read of Anna Stones’ books (after Forever Theirs, my first foray into lesbian fiction) and I found it just as enjoyable in every way. Ok, we knew what was going to happen once Ruby and Yvonne started drinking together but the way the story went from there and branched into the angst of separate past lives coming together to a happy resolution was excellently done. I had to have more of this author and now have every book that she has written. I have not been disappointed in any of them. I now have a large collection of many different authors but Anna Stone will always be my favourite. I wait impatiently for each new offering, pre ordering the minute one appears
