Full of action an not full of lengthy, boring background reading about the color of the sunset or what 10 pages on what some minor character ate for breakfast the day something happens. I am being sarcastic but you get the point!! These are short books that are fun to read and don't waste your time.

    Latecomer to the series, only on book 10, but 11 books read counting the prequel Slay Bells. This series is fantastic, the main character Tanner is one of the best written characters of any series.

    While all books in this series have been great, this one stands out as the best of the best with Tanner # 5; The Life & Death of Cody Parker.

    New characters introduced, including the mysterious Spenser Hawke, as we are left guessing throughout the book if he is friend or foe.
    We are also teased about an appearance of Tanner 6 in this book. Two Tanners in the same book? Is it possible? You have to read it to find out...Everyone is after our Tanner to kill him and collect the one million, make it TWO million dollar bounty on his life. From a top notch mercenary team, to a motorcycle gang, to street thugs, to the daughter of a past dear departed enemy, everyone is "green" with murder in their eyes.

    Looking forward to Tanner Book # 11!
