This is a very good book, introducing new characters and saying goodbye to some. The storyline is well written, and in my case, it kept me so engaged, but when I got to the end of the book I was surprised and thought maybe I had skipped a bunch of pages. But I didn’t. I recommend that you read this book. It’s a good one.

Tanner just keeps getting better and better, which means Remington Kane is getting better, too. Unfortunately, being human and not a machine, heKane can't write as fast as I can read. But what he does write is non-stop action.
Now the top hit man in the world, Tanner is also a good friend. He's back in Manhattan to help an old buddy and, as always, his help is unprecedented, both in quality and violence. No spoilers here, but if you want action, romance, violence, and good old-fashioned payback, you need to read this book. I can't guarantee you willl Iike every character and every scene, but I can guarantee you won't be indifferent. And you will be entertained.
I had the great good fortune to read an ARC (advanced review copy) in exchange for feedback, but that was just icing on the cake since I'd already pre-ordered my own copy of Manhattan Hit Man when it was first announced. Remington Kane is one of my favorite authors and Tanner is one of my favorite characters. When you read this book, I'm betting they will be on your favorites list, too.

Remington Kane in my opinion now rates up with authors that I've been reader year's. Authors like James people, Jonathan Letterman, Clive Cussler, Michael Connelly, Patricia Cornwell, Robert B Parker, Lee child and so many others that I've been reading for years. The Tanner novels rate right up there with the best. I hate finishing a Tanner novel because I know that now I have to wait for the next. All I can say is if you like reading novels from authors like those above you will love Tanner books.

Its good to be home! The story picks up where basically Tanner and Sara decide.it's time.to go home. Just like always trouble seems to find its way and it takes the willingness that Tanner has to take out the trash to handle it. Along the way we get to see that maybe Sammy has found a new.friend and let go of his dark cloud. The flow of the story as always is good and so is the humor. Another reason to get on the rollercoaster.

This continues to be the only series I give 5 stars every time. After a few books taking place outside of New York, it’s great to see Tanner back in the Big Apple again. Only an author of Remington Kane’s caliber can pull off multiple storylines that have nothing to do with Tanner and keep the reader interested in the characters and the outcome.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the read but the last few books tanner was more on the side of right than wrong. This book is a step back, he has somehow become dirty, that may sound weird but if you have read the other books you will understand.

As an advanced copy Beta reader I can thoroughly recommend this book. Like all others in this series it grabs you from the first chapter and will not let go until you finish! If you thought that Tanner was getting a little soft then this book will show that he is still the same hit man we have got to know and appreciate. Well done Mr Kane, your development of characters in your work is commendable.
