I loved this book. Kane always has the Tanner series evolving with a lot of moving parts. This is just another addition to that. Tanner is likable and the story is compelling. Add a dog to the mix and a cabin in Maine and you have a fun read. Twists and turns as well as villains add to this. Kane is one of my favorite authors and this may be my favorite series....Reacher, Rapp, King/Slater and Tanner!

    Kindle Unlimited Review

As soon as I saw this is available, I headed to Kindle Unlimited and tore through it.

One thing I have always loved about the Tanner books is how incredibly stupid the bad guys are.

The bad guys here are no different. When one is recognized by a Giaconni street soldier despite the bad guy's attempt to disguise himself, he's still stupid. And Joe has a particular softness for where the man gets his change-up—a barber shop.

This particular bad guy is so stupid he thinks he can try and kill Sara's father. Not himself, he's so cowardly he won't do it himself. Maybe not, he does have an idea of who Tanner may be, but is comforted by the investigation of Blue Truth that Tanner does not exist. See, Tanner #26, The Real Deal.

As always, a high octane adventure. The stakes are higher here because it is Sara's father. Will Tanner be able to protect him?

Its always nice to met a fellow professional and has pride in who and what he's about. The story is about Tanners father in law and this was especially a treat. We get to see this character somewhat humble themselves once he finds out exactly what kind of man his daughter married. Also we get quite a few laughs along the way and they are some good ones. The writing was always fresh and full of action.

Another great book by Remington Kane. Life is never boring where Tanner goes and this time it’s in the middle of nowhere guarding his father-in-law.

I can’t say enough about Remington Kane and his Tanner series. I usually get bored with a series by book 4 or 5 . Though I could read Tanner every day if possible . I’m sooo bummed this book ended and I’m waiting patiently for Bullets ( book 30)
I’ve read everything by Remington Kane . He’s one of few authors that can keep a series going this long and it is never boring. Great read with action, suspense, thrills an exciting fun series. Definitely recommend. Thanks for another great ride with Tanner.

Since my very first reading of author Remington Kane’s “Tanner Series” I’ve been hooked. I’ve never read one I would rate less than 5 Stars. The series is simply phenomenal.

Another thing I like about this author is that he strongly supports the Kindle Unlimited Program and I subscribe to it. Thank you for that Mr. Kane.

If you are, as I am, a fan of the genre, especially those dealing with Vigilante Justice, Organized Crime, and Assassinations the to you I HIGHLY recommend this book.

The book is gripping, and smoothly read. It flows, error free, from the first sentence to the last. If you’re looking for something new and you’ve never read Remington Kane in the past, my advise is to begin at the beginning with book one. Though this can be read as a standalone, trust me, you’ll enjoy it more if you do.

    Thank you Remington Kane.

Since I read fairly quickly I’m seeing the end of this series coming up soon. I enjoy Tanner’s exploits and the plot twists. At book 30 and still going strong…

It was a surprise to see Tanner having to protect his father in law.
It was a job well done. The defence lawyer did a good job even though he lost the case. The defendant was not satisfied and decided to kill him. Once again Tanner steps in to help with the help of others. Well done. Onto the next story.

A good thriller that has Tanner tasked with keeping his father in law alive from assassin’s sent to murder him because he failed to keep him from conviction and prison on a murder charge. Fast moving storyline with hints of love, betrayal, and imaginative assassin’s which keep Tanner on his toes albeit with the assistance of a four legged friend.
