    There is certainly an advantage to reading the tanner series in order. Each story or each book builds upon the previous book and the stories grow and the friends grow and the families grow and wow what great books what a great series . Hexalcorp comes into the picture again. And things become personal for Tanner you won’t want to put this book down.

    Unfortunately for us, our world doesn't have Tanner… but, in this book they do!!

    As always, the stories have a predetermined ending. The trick is how to get from the beginning to the end. This story focuses on corruption at high levels. Riots that destroy property and businesses owned by minorities. Without being blatant it does shed some light on recent events. Doesn’t seem like it is 44 books. I guess I’ll wait for #45. This would make a great series on Netflix. One rule, it would have to be made available in Mexico.

    I'm am an absolute, devoted, die-hard Tanner fan. At 68 I've read an incredible number of both fiction & non-fiction books and yet None have affected me more than Remington Kane's Tanner & White series. Perhaps he's not quite so famous or well-known but the hold this author has on me is all but absolute. He knows how to get your attention & make it worth your while. His books catapult me from my life and send me on a daring and dangerous high speed spree that, in the end, leaves me feeling vindicated and satisfied that real justice has been royally served. My only less than positive issue I have with Mr. Kane is he just doesn't write fast enough. He's simply That Good.

    A simple task to travel to San Padre to settle her sister's estate and turn the business over to Wendy turns into a living hell for Cody's housekeeper. They run into the trial of a young man who had run over and killed a six year old girl. He left the scene, went to his father, A renowned Plastic Surgeon, came back to the scene, to late to save the little girls life. A huge crowd of protesters, fueled by representatives of a big corporation who wanted to burn out the poorest part of the town, repossess the property and build new property and businesses leaving the current residents even worse off or dead, and lots of profit to the corporation. A few individuals objected, Wendy's boyfriend, Joshua, who watched his friend being shot by Miller and Joshua by his assistant, and Tanner when he went to make sure everyone he cared about was safe. The young man was convicted, but corporate plants stirred the mob and numerous people and police officers were injured or killed in the riots that followed. Tanner manages to bring everything to a close in his usual manner, take out those responsible and let the FBI and Police do their job and justice to prevail. You're going to have to read how this came about.

This book is timely, in that it covers a town through a riot, similar to what happened throughout our country recently, with people recruited and hired to cause damage and destruction, and, for some, make money off the pain they cause. Just another Tanner books, where he rights wrongs, with a good heart. QI was so happy to see #44 in the series. Keep them coming, Mr Kane.

    This was an okay story other than it was too short. This is kind of an episode out of Cody Parker's life where he plays Tanner. It continues to show Cody as a family man and a good guy in addition to being the world's deadliest assassin. I did not find it a particularly exciting story but it was okay.

    When I see a new novel by Remington Kane is available I stop reading other books and start on his instead. I love to read anything about Tanner and this one does not disappoint at all. I like how Tanner helps the innocent but still takes out the bad guys. This story is full of action, intrigue and amazing results whether good or bad. I for one am very excited and thankful that Remington Kane decided to continue on with Tanner. When you read his style you know you will be waiting for his next one impatiently.
