The story gets a 5! Non-stop action, cool characters and of course Tanner! However, the Sara Blake character has become so nauseating and grating that I'm beyond annoyed. I get that she is crazy but in this book trying to make every excuse that Tanner can't be trusted as duplicitous and hypocritical as she is... It's tiresome at this point and I want her dead. The man she is vengeful over was no saint and her interactions with her sister show how ridic her character has become. She should have died 3 or 4 books ago. When an odious character overshadows a great series it starts to become a problem. I just can't fathom this character lingering another 30 or so books because I will have stopped reading by then. She is the most repugnant character in all of the series I've read and it's time for her to go. Fingers crossed its in Suicide or Death. Please make things right Remington Kane.

Wow! Plenty of blood and guts from Tanner this time around. Strange ending that has to have follow up soon!

Wow! Tanner finds himself in New York and it’s going to be bumpy. He reconnects with a past love, finds a new love and starts working with Rossetti and Joe. And Sara Blake, boy she has gone off the rails. Great book!!

Good book but I am sick to death of Sarah Blake. I don't hate her, or think she's evil. Truth be told, I don't even think she's all that interesting. What I do think is that the author is beating a dead horse by using her over and over like he does. She's just annoying, and I find myself wishing he'd come up with something, anything, to replace whatever word quota he's trying to come up with by keeping her character. Other than that, the book is great. Will probably read at least one more, but won't stay with it much longer if she continues to be a part of the books.

Sara needs to GO..... Her attitude in this book made me so angry (good writing). The way she is so focused on her hatred and revenge that she is alienating everyone. GRRRRRR I wanted to smack her so many times!

You know that line from Scarf ace "you want to go to war? I take you to war" This is not only a deeper look at the characters in this series but we are getting more of the human side and we like it. The writer brings you along at a pace that's so beguiling that you are caught before you know it. There are going to be some close calls, there are going to be a few times you are going to want to knock the snot out of Sara. Also we are going to experience a hard loss and its going to hurt. But the there are moments of humor and it is spot on. This was very entertaining addition to the series and it has all the action!

The series keeps you entertained but now needs more variations. Getting annoyed that a killer can eliminate world class assassins but cannot get rid of Sara Blake...she needs to be put down.

Great story with action and interesting twists that totally captivate the reader. Lots of deadly situations. I'm tired of Sarah and I hope she's finished soon. Well written.

Wasn't sure when I read the first of this series but by the end of the book I was really warming to Tanner even though he is a stone cold killer. Have now read numbers 1 to 12 and started on 13 and overall they are very readable books and the way each one ends makes you buy the next one. A real surprise package for me and I will make sure I read them all.
