He finds himself taking on a contract with the help of a friend and end up, saving her life with a different problem only way to go back to where he was supposed to be. Things are moving along and a steady patient than wow everything goes well and another good tanner book.

    Tanner. In his early years, Tanner was a ladies man. He loved them and they left him.

    As the blurb for the book says, the father of a man Tanner assassined wants revenge.

    The father holes up in his newly purchased lair, along with 20 mercenary guards. And a woman the
    fatherʼs remaining son has kidnapped. He waits, like a spider, for Tanner to show up. He left tantalizing bait to lure him in.

    Tanner is not yet the legend he will become. Learning from Spencer, he has done his due diligence. The difference between an assassin and a true professional. The father and his guards are in for a surprise.

    I love these forays into Tannerʼs early years as an assassin. They round out the character in a way I have not seen any another author do.

    No Spencer and no Romeo in this one. It is all Tanner.
