I have been sitting on this review for a couple of weeks now, because I know for sure that no amount of praise words would do justice to this book, because it was PHENOMENAL! All I wished while reading this book, was that I could read it forever and ever, because it was so good. I could not put it down. I completely lost myself in the book, the story is so captivating and inviting, is like stepping down the rabbit hole and never wanting to come out again. I loved every second of it, the action, the story, the writing and the characters. I was so happy when I found out that this book was going to be Demitri’s book, because I really wanted to find out more about him. There was something about him that cached my attention and made me even more curious about him. This book was pure perfection. It was a phenomenal journey, the perfect recipe for success. This book has it all: action, an amazing plot, well written characters, the words choosing, everything. Even though it had it’s dark moments when I actually screamed at the book and wanted to send it flying across the room, and plenty of angst, this book is also edgy and steamy with the perfect ending. I loved the Vetrov – Koslov team since the first book, they are powerful and deadly, and the beautiful bound and friendship between them, especially Alexei and Demitri, is so pure and beautiful, and with every book I love and love them even more. I hope that each of them will get their book because I want to know more about them, especially Alexei Koslov. That man has something that really got my attention. I need a book with him as the main character. “𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩, 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙝𝙠𝙖, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙣𝙙.” Ariana won my heart in a few seconds. Sometimes you read a character and you instantly wanna be their friend, and Ariana is definitely one of those characters. I adored her. She is beautiful and strong, with a pure heart and hope for a better tomorrow. I admired her strength, power and determination. This girl is a force of nature, she can be so fearful when the time asks for it, and would fight until her dying breath for what she believes. Demitri Vetrov is strong, calculated, brutal and possessive, ruthless, a killing machine, the perfect custodian, all wrapped in the perfect disguise of an arrogant Russian God. For most, he is the monster in the dark, the man you should never cross, one of the most feared men. He screams dark and dangerous, could kill you in seconds and without any effort, and has only one goal: to become the best custodian there is and to protect his brother from another mother, Alexei. He was always cold, almost without any emotions or feelings, but that changes when he sets his eyes upon Ariana. One glimpse is enough for him. One glimpse is enough to turn all his world upside-down and make him a new man. I breath and love Demitri, he is such a great and complex character. Incredible loyal, would always put in front of danger in order to keep his family safe and sound. He is an honorable man, lives after a code. I loved the scenes with him and Ariana, even with all that constant banter between them, he still was so protective of her. Always cared for her and made sure she was safe and sound, out of harm way. He took care of her, never pushing her past her limits. The ending was so beautiful, it was perfect, checked all the important points, gave us a glimpse in the future and the life of this power couple, all leading to a conclusion. I need more, I crave more! And I definitely am counting the days until I can get my hands on Alexei’s book. I need that book like air! Phenomenal, addictive and so, so good, this book is everything,
