"The Temptation Trials Part II by B. Truly is full of excitement, suspense, drama, romance, mystery, and paranormal. The two books are a quick and easy read. The author did a very good job in the first book of making it easy to understand each character. The storyline was easy to pick up and remember where it left off in the first book. I enjoyed this romance story because the ending was not what I expected. I've said before that I have a hard time reading romance novels where I know what is going to happenat the end. In this book, I was shocked with part of the ending.
The second book is hard to put down. The author did a very good job making it exciting with a twist to keep aperson interested. There were no misspelled words and no mistakes. This is not something I would normally read, but I am glad that I took the chance to read it. I am going to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I look forward to readingmore books by this author." "The Trials are not finished yet. The contestants meet their partners on the journey back home and they need tomake a decision. The focus of the second part is more inclined toaction. There are new characters which bring a new dimension into the plot.     Temptation Trials Part II is a book full of love mysteries and heartaches. The characters are controlled by a regime to test their abilities to withstand sin. I rate the story 5 out of 5 stars. There was one grammatical error that I noticed, but the work was professionally edited by the editor.

    The Temptation Trials Part 2 by B. Truly continues directly after the events of The Temptation Trials Part 1. Prior knowledge from Part 1 is necessary to feel the story's full impact. I give this book 2 out of 4 stars. Fans of dystopian future, paranormal romance or urban fantasy genre novels could enjoy this series. This book had no editing issues found in the publication.

    In the future, Cali and Stef live in a world devastated by World War III. The new world ruler, Eminence, and his Regime enforcers impose strict rules on the population, including arranged marriage. The age for arranged marriage for Cali and Stef was quickly approaching. They decide to take part in the Temptation Trials to prove the love they share with Cade and Tobias is real, and that Eminence should allow them to stay together. The Trials do not go well for Cali, Cade, Stef, and Tobias.

    The couples in the Temptation Trials, as well as those sent by Eminence to tempt the participants, all travel home together. Cali and Stef are unable to share the secrets they learned during the Trials with Cade and Tobias while the Regime is on constant watch. Animosity builds for the characters with the ever-present reminder of unfaithfulness during their Trials. Cali and Stef begin to feel it will be impossible to save their relationships by the time they arrive home. Cali and Stef impart the information they discovered when the group arrives at the Opposition headquarters. The Opp who formed to fight the unfairness of the Regime make plans with Cali, Stef, Cade, and Tobias. Their goal is to make sure Eminence can not cause any more harm with the Temptation Trials.

    It was tense anticipating how the group would react to each other, especially with the knowledge the girls had about being drugged on the island. I was hoping they could find a way to communicate their secrets with Cade and Tobias quicker to relieve hostilities. It made sense why they had to guard their information, but it played out too much like a soap opera for me. However, excused or not betrayal is hard to overlook for anyone. Emotions would run high when surrounded by the reminders of another's infidelity. The antagonist created the perfect storm. Frustration distracts the characters so much it prevents them from resolving their problem. It works well. Even as the observer, I felt the impact of it.

    The consuming lust during the Trials that is also surfacing with the public is part of a vast problem. I did not expect the spiritual impact this would have on their world, and I enjoyed the shock of it. When things take on a religious undercurrent, I often find it annoying. I typically have no desire to ponder the scripture helping save one's soul. The way religion manifested and blended with the plot here felt natural in an inoffensive way.

    I sensed how Stef would end up with one man over the other. The event leading to Stef's resolution lacked necessary emotional impact for me, which it should have caused. I unfortunately just felt it as a plot device, and I resented having that moment taken from me. It could be I just over think the conclusion before it's time. Figuring things out can frustrate me, but I have nothing to blame it on but my analytical mind. This plot point may not affect others as it did me.

    Overall Temptation Trials Part 2 wasn't a bad book. I rooted for the characters to find their way back to each other, or at the very least forgive each other. The bad experiences they had fueled their determination to help others and I wanted that for them. The surprises I saw coming balanced with the ones I didn't. I would be willing to give future books set in this world a chance.

    Imagine living in a world where the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with is chosen for you. In a world where there is really no reason to fall in love because if you do then more than likely your heart will be broken.

    The world is run by one man and this man chooses who you will spend the rest of your life with.

    But if you do fall in love there is one hope for you by being a contestant on a reality tv show called Temptation Trials. On Temptation Trials if you can make it through to the end then you can choose the person you want to spend the rest of your life with yourself. That is if you can make it through all the temptations.

    In Temptation Trails Part I Cali and her best friend Stefani talk their boyfriends, Cade and Tobias into going on the show so that they can spend their lives together. They are sent to an island where they each meet their temptations, face trails among other things and fall in love.

    In Temptation Trails Part II Cali and Stefani are in love with two guys with their hearts torn. They must choose which one they want to spend the rest of their life with and it will be announced at the Temptation Ball to the whole world.

    Cali, Stefani, Cade, Tobias, Zion and Dom are back on the mainland now waiting for the ball but in the mean time they are trying to figure out a way to stop the government from running their lives and having so much control over them by picking their life partners.

    I have truly loved following along with Cali and Stefani on their long journey of fighting for the choice of choosing who they want to spend their lives with. My heart is torn into for these two girls I mean they do have a very tough choice to make. Which guy will they chose? Both of their choices are hawt and very loving people who will put their own lives in danger to save their girls.

    Temptation Trials Part II has been one amazing journey. About half way through the story there was a big twist I mean it was like being picked up in a tornado and then set down somewhere else book it worked. I loved this amazing twist in the story and that ending although I never saw it coming blew my mind. Oh and what about that blue mist that is seen floating around the town? Blue mist…Temptation…Blue Lagoon…

    As I have said before and I will say again this has been an amazing journey one in which I hope to take again one day. I do hope to read more about these characters. I know this is an end to an epic journey but a girl can hope can’t she?
