There's no force greater than a parent's need to protect their child.

Rhys is overworked, underpaid, and out of shape. Although, when he comes face to face with a plague spilling out of the Alpha Tower, none of those things matter. First and foremost, Rhys is a father.

The Alpha Plague is a fast-paced post-apocalyptic series that starts with one man's need to save his son, before accelerating into a thrill ride than spans decades and generations.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2024I love ready your books I’m soo glue to them it’s unreal, I have to get the next 3 sets?!!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2016As in the first two installments, author, Michael Robertson continues the storyline from where it previously left off. Rhys and his former wife are trying to meet up with Vicky and their son, both groups fighting zombies and hordes as they move forward. Only, Vicky also has to worry about her psychotic ex-fiancé who wants to kill her and the boy. No matter how many times she defeats his efforts, she can't get away from his relentless chasing. It seems that he might outlive the zombies!
The story comes back to the drawbridge where this installment started and the four survivors find themselves trapped by thousands of zombies that have surrounded them. I've already downloaded #4 and #5 - so it's back to their adventure and to find out how they get out of this one. I'm also having fun with the Queen's English - as this book is written - and get amused when reading these different words and sayings that might be normal for somebody from GB or Australia. Nevertheless, I'm enjoying the series.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2015Michael Robertson has done it again!! This series just keeps getting better and better. I cant wait for each new installment to come out...and each one leaves me wanting more. I am so hoping for a happy ending for the great characters in this series.....they surely deserve it after all they have been through. Mr. Robertson's apocalyptic stories are a great read....they are all well written and keep you turning the page until the end. This author also has several other series that will keep you reading until the very last page. You should check out all the books by this author. I promise you will not be disappointed! Thanks for another great story!!

- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2015Ever since The Walking Dead, I was a fan of Zombies, not to read about them but the TV series. Michael changed that, his Alpha Plague is very well written, a nice pace, not dull and keeps you wanting for more. Well done. Waiting for part 4 now.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2016I am a slow reader, but like the previous two books in the series, I ate this one up and ordered book #4 shortly after finishing #3. I am still very interested in the characters (interest normally fades for me after one or two books.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and gripping
Unfortunately for some reason I couldn't leave a review for book 2. If I had I would have given it 5 stars as I have given book 1 and this one. Excellent story. I cant wait to read book 4 in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars No letting up
Having read the first two Alpha Plague books, this one didn't dissapoint. A timeline of weaving tenses keeps you guessing right until the end. Another fast paced follow on from Michael Robertson.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1984 meets the walking dead
Totally sucked in. Great storyline only problem is the books are to damn short.. If you like end of the world stories read this one.. 1984 meets the walking dead.

4.0 out of 5 stars When will the story end?
Having read the other two books in the series I was hoping that this book would end the story but it wasn't to be. Although I enjoyed the story, there were moments when the story line dragged. Too much time was spent in Summit City. It was interesting to read about the past of Vicky. Also in this book and in the other two in the series there was an overuse of the swear word f**k. I don't swear and I found it uncomfortable to read. Leave the swearing out please Michael. I do hope the next book will end the story as it has now gone on for too long.
