An absolute must read I’m still gathering my thoughts and may come back at some point to add more. Emotionally moving, I’ve been invested in Richard and Katy from the start. From book one when Richard was an absolute prick and unlike any character I’d read. Trying to find a redeemable quality in those opening chapters was hard. But seeing the changes in him. My god he turned out to be such a fantastic lead. A great husband and a phenomenal father. Katy’s quietness and her demeanour showed a strong lead. She was not some one you’d like at lightly. Her utter faithfulness in Richard and the poignancy of this story will move you. When I went in reading the blurb I wasn’t sure what was going to unfold. Seeing the love this family has created was like a safe haven. They were secure in their lives. Everything was perfect. Until the accident that nearly destroyed them. Seeing Katy broken was devastating but seeing Richard to what he was to what he’d become? Shattered me. These characters had brought me into their home so it felt like you experienced every step with them. Thank you for this journey Melanie. I cried throughout but it was not all sadness. Seeing Richard come back to his family, the love that surrounded them with the secondary characters was moving. A huge MUST READ!

Actually, there is NOTHING I like about this book...because I LOVED everything about it! I am a big fan of Melanie Moreland, and of all her books, and have been from the beginning when I read Into the Storm. Through each new release, I professed the current book is my favorite of all time. When I read The Contract, it was plain to see that it was on a level by itself! One that goes beyond simple words like "favorite book", "favorite characters", "favorite author"! Although I love each and every book by Melanie Moreland, The Contract is now considered my GOAT! (Greatest of All Time) The Contract first introduced us to Richard and Katy. I fell in love with Katy right away and admired her for her strength. The same cannot be said for my first impression of Richard. However, Richard evolved into the perfect book boyfriend because he fell in love with Katy, and amazingly, she fell in love with him! To read the transformation of Richard was pure storytelling magic, and that is what Melanie gave us!

    The Baby Clause gave us another transformation of Richard, fatherhood! By this time, I loved everything about Richard VanRyan! I did not want to see the series end. Melanie answered my prayers by bringing Richard into her BAM series. Though I loved seeing him again, it was still not enough. Imaging exhilaration of knowing that Richard and Katy would be featured in another book, The Amendment! My joy could not be contained!

    In The Amendment, we join Richard and Katy in their lives after The Baby Clause but during some events that happened in the BAM series. Therefore I recommend reading The Contract, The Baby Clause, Bently, Aiden, Maddox, and Reid if you want all the information you need to understand the relationships in The Amendment.

    The Amendment shows our favorite couple riding high on life. Richard is well aware that he has it all! The perfect career, the best of friends, but most importantly, his wife and daughters! He and Katy are living their Happily Ever After! However something happens that could change life as they know it. Will the love they have be enough to help them survive?

    This book takes you through a roller coaster of feelings...love, fear, sorrow, frustration, acceptance, forgiveness, hope, joy...and many, many more. In The Amendment, Melanie Moreland gives us characters that are believably real! She reminds us that, even when you have the perfect person for you, it doesn't mean that they are perfect. At least not all the time. The situations that tests this wonderful family also feels real. Watching how they cope when life throws you a curve ball is, again, storytelling magic!

    This story is a must read! Especially if you loved The Contract! It is now my GOAT! (Yes it took that spot from The Contract) The beauty, however, is that it still leaves Richard VanRyan as my GOAT for book boyfriend. In fact, I think I love him even more in The Amendment. A mention before, he is not a perfect, but he is perfect for Katy, Gracie and Heather. This makes him as close to perfect as perfect can get in my book. Katy, again shows great strength, loyalty and courage. She is the glue that keeps this family together! And who cannot love Gracie!

    The Contract was a great romance, The Baby Clause was the sweetest thing ever, but you need to read The Amendment to see the best of true love!

    I latched on to this book as soon as I saw it was available. Richard and Katy are back and still in the honeymoon stage of their marriage years later. When something terrible happens. The emotional and mental struggles challenge their ability to move past and grow stronger in their bond. Of course, all ends well.
    I really enjoyed this book. It depicted the ideal relationship with the ideal friends who would be there if something bad happens to you. The sex scenes were hot and very well done. The story was very sappy at points, so much so that I rolled my eyes here and there. I mean, how many times is Katy going to say, "my darling?" Like, who talks like that anymore? Also, you know these are wealthy people if they can take off work for such a long time to help with another person's family. I don't know, I just couldn't relate to the characters as much. The ending kind of dragged on for longer than it needed to, like, and then they lived happily ever after...but WAIT, they lived even HAPPIER ever after when... It's like okay...we get it! It wasn't perfect, but in general, a great book that I enjoyed.

    I love this book, it has it all... romance, the depth of real love, the love of family, loyalty, friendship... and all tied in a perfectly balanced epilogue!!!     I absolutely loved this book. The characters are fantastic and the storyline was brilliant.

    Katy and Richard are both brilliant characters. The character development is faultless. It’s brilliant to see their happy life together with everything going well, and I love the spark, between them. Then when things went wrong, it was gut wrenching to read. Richard didn’t know how to cope, and his behaviour wasn’t great, but Katy did everything she could from him. Seeing him struggle with everything, almost lose it all, and then then to come back fighting was fantastic.

    The storyline was nothing like I expected. It hit the feels hard, especially when he was at his worst. The way it developed was great though, with him fighting to get everything back.

    I loved the other characters and particularly the Gavins. Their brilliant and their support towards Richard and Katy was admirable.

    I absolutely loved the ending. Everything ended up perfect in the end and they all got what they wanted. It was a perfect end to the series.

    Overall, I loved this series. This book was brilliant. The characters are fantastic and the storyline is brilliant. I would definitely recommend this series.

    Wow... what an incredible story. I fell in love with Katy & Richard in The Contract & The Baby Clause as well as when Richard appeared in the BAM books, but this story made me fall in love with these two even more. With such a joyous start - especially seeing Richard and Katy as parents - the devastation that hits is that much more shocking and hard to handle, juxtaposed with the happiness they were living. We get the "old Richard" back when the tragedy affects him and reveals that the man who blackmailed Katy into marrying him is still under the surface. But with some tough love - yay for Maddox & Aiden as well as Graham - and the realisation that Katy will always be there, no matter what, this story shows us that love can conquer all - even when you think the happily ever after is over.
