She’s a firm believer that nothing and no one in this world is perfect, and she enjoys exploring those imperfections—trying to make the characters seem real on the page and not just in her head.

She might just be crazy, though. Her characters think so, but this can’t be confirmed.

The way I have binged this entire series and not once getting bored or uninterested is rather remarkable. What a freaking amazing end to this massive world Banet created! I’m honestly shocked this series isn’t talked more about. It had everything I craved… • romance • intense battle scenes • strong female lead • men ready to do anything for their female • magic & dragons & wyverns • the fluidity of relationships & romantic partnerships was just beautiful. Expertly written and an astounding inclusion for all types of love. 100% here for it. I loved that this was a complete fantasy and the Andinna race & culture is like one I have never read about and just created this magnificent world & customs. I adored every small thing, from the jewelry, to the Tatua & blood bonds…I could go on for days. My past month has been nothing but reading all 7 of these books and I’m definitely going to have to invest in getting them for my shelves.

This series was such an epic read and I'm talking about each and every book being not only an amazing read with us learning all about the honorable Andinna their history and culture and how for some it was twisted in the pits by the Elvasi .

Every single book was over 400 pages with the last one being over 600 and yet it was never boring and never filler each book took you inside these main characters lives and not only made you love them but this author made you feel their emotions the pride of a victory and the tears of loss and everything in between.

I hate looking at the number of reviews, because it is nowhere near close to what this series and author deserve. I can only hope that others stumble upon this treat. I read an embarrassing amount but those books or series that truly reach down deep and get their hooks in you becoming ones you'll never forget no matter how many books you read are so few and far between but this series is one of then.

I think some might be turned off by the covers or that they might make you think of those male authors who write harem stories with scantily clad women who are often different looking. It crossed my mind when I saw it but I was already a huge fan of this author so I dove right in and loved it right off the bat.

Hopefully more people will find the way to the Andinna and I'll definitely be back for more as I've already read several two or three times so I'll need to catch up on the last two again. It always amazes me how much you miss in the first read through.

I loved this series! it has heart, action and a strong lead. The characters are so well written, and so is the intricate relationships between them. The personal development within the main characters through out the series is something else. The ending is a perfect goodbye to the characters, and I can only recommend everyone reading this series if they love a bloodthirsty female lead, well written supporting characters, great world building, and in general a really well written book.

This review is for the series as a whole. It is one I highly recommend. I only removed a star because of editing issues. The storytelling is top tier, the character development wonderful, and it’s worth every moment you spend reading it.

Kristen Banet has produced a beautiful piece of art in AGE OF THE ANDINNA. This is a saga of such depth, creativity, hope, and struggle. Banet has created a world with history, cultures, languages - a language that can be learned in the back of each of the seven books in the series - belief systems, politics, lifestyles, and more. Each book is like a study of the vivid mural representation of drama and color and scenery. And, YES, as the author freely admits, she will allow the reader to cry. Such an amazing experience.

I'm not often at a loss of words but this series has been one of the best IV ever read. Was it slow in some parts, yes but looking back I am glad for all of it. These characters became like family to me and when an author can do that its something real special.

I am always a bit sad and apprehensive when it’s the last book of a series I particularly enjoyed reading. This ending is absolutely faultless... thank you Kristen Banet for sharing this world with us!

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, the romance, the action & the war scenes... best fantasy series I have read for a long time. I will get into any details regarding the plot, this is the ending to a series built over 7 books, so if you like all of the mentioned above please read it!

PS: I would love to see more stories set in the same universe - I would love to read more about Nyria and her powers *crossing fingers*

This final book in the serious of Mave and everyone we have come to love is a grand finale to an amazing story. I enjoyed every second of it, and yes, there was also tears but the ending was fantastic and I am a little sad but also happy. What a journey we went on with Mave from her beginnings in the Empire to the end, when she finally faces her advisory. Kristen Banet created a masterpiece with this story that I will remember and cherish for a long time coming.

This book had sooo much emotion, action, love and fantasy mixed in and it was perfect for me. Multiple POVs added a well rounded story. Although there were grammar and some editing errors, I could get over because of the story being told. It roped me in and locked me in for almost a month. Enjoyed at all.
