The Silver Tower: Arthurian Fantasy (Rise of the King Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.7 out of 5 stars 198 ratings

Merlin disappeared over a thousand years ago. Now they risk everything to find him.

Vivian needs King Arthur’s help. Nimue, a powerful witch and priestess who lives on Avalon, has disappeared.

King Arthur, Tom, and his friends set off across the Other to find her, following Nimue’s trail to Holloways Meet. But what they find there makes no sense.

Nimue seems to have a quest of her own, one she's deliberately hiding. Arthur is convinced it's about Merlin, and he’s determined to find him.

Against his better judgement Tom follows Arthur on a dangerous trip that could end his new life before it’s even begun.

The search pits them not only against Nimue, but a dragon sorcerer, dragons, and the sylphs.

If you love magic, ancient gods, and mythical beasts, you’ll love TJ Green’s re-imagining of the Arthurian legend.

*Important note - This book was previously released as Twice Born, Tom’s Arthurian Legacy book 2. The beginning has been re-written, but the rest of the story remains the same.

Just when I think TJ Green can't write any better, she delivers another brilliant book. The Silver Towers transports you back in time and yet takes you into the future. The Rise of the King was fantastic and this second book in the series will grip you and make you want more.

Nice story of what happens after Arthur’s death on earth.

The Silver Tower is the story of the search for Merlin. The old legends of King Arthur fade away with Merlin's disappearance. Some stories have him trapped by a friend, others by an enemy. Which version is correct? What if both are correct. This book is well written in the style of the ancient. Tom, Arthur, and Beansprout have an adventure while trying to find Merlin. I recommend this book. It is a page turner. I got lost in the story.

An excellent story about King Arthur and the mystical beings in another dimension. The author has such a wonderful way of writing that she draws you right into the story, leaving you feeling like you are actually there with the characters. She also keeps the action moving; never dull spots. Well written with some intense events.

Not just for young adults. Very easy to read, you become part of the story and want to know what happens next. Travel through the fairy realm with King Arthur, Merlin, Nimue, Tom, Beansprout, Woodsmoke and Brenna. Enjoy another adventure meeting new characters and seeing new sights. Looking forward to the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic journey in the fullest sense

This is the second book in the Trilogy. I almost wished that the party led by Arthur would slow down so I could catch-up! A wonderful flowing narrative from TJ where Arthur, Tom, Beansprout, Brenna and Woodsmoke chase after Merlin. Having successfully awakened Merlin from his Centuries of Frozen death. Merlin, awakening and fearing for his life, called for help from friends and disappeared. So this book is a story of fabulous palaces and people as they catch up with Merlin, only to be sentenced to death………..!
