About the Author

Loriana is a bit of a nomad. She was born to British parents in Germany where her father was stationed during his time in the British Army. After living her early years in Lincolnshire, schooling and growing up in Royal Windsor, she spent her twenties exploring and working in Australia as well as travelling around Asia and Europe.
Now a wife to one very patient husband and mum to four beautiful children, she lives in the Home Counties, very close to her beloved Windsor and not too far from London. Loriana writes contemporary romance and loves to create stories about countries, cities and people that inspire her.

    Meeting someone special and falling deeply in love sounds simple, but people aren’t blank canvases. There is a thing called the past, and the past shapes us in different ways. The Vow We Made tells the story of Victoria and Aiden, who have more in common then they think. I love their sweet and realistic story.

    Victoria seems to have it all; a job she loves and the support of her family and friends. But what most people don’t know is that she’s still recovering from the day that should have been the happiest of her life. Getting involved with a man again isn’t part of the plan, but she can’t help herself when it comes to Aiden. Aiden is a busy man; working long, odd hours as a doctor at an A&E department doesn’t leave much time for socializing. Not that he doesn’t want to find love, but he knows not many women would put up with his work schedule. The moment Aiden and Victoria meet there’s an instant connection, and both can’t ignore it.

    Victoria and Aiden are both amazing people, but together they’re just swoon worthy. I love Victoria, she’s much stronger than she believes, and she has bravely rebuilt her life after ‘that day’. I get that Victoria is a bit skittish (I would be too), but sometimes I want to friendly shake some sense into her. Aiden is an awesome guy who knows what he wants. I love his ‘chase’ of Victoria, it’s so him. I love Aiden and Victoria for each other; I was so happy when they decided to give their love a chance.

    The Vow We Made is already the third book by Loriana Cappello. And like her other books it’s about real people with realistic thoughts and actions. Because this is a romantic story there some clichés, but the author uses them at the right time. They don’t cause unnecessary drama for the sake of drama but feel naturally to the story. Besides a great leading couple there’s a set of interesting side characters, who are all supportive of our couple. I love The Vow We Made, and I can’t wait for future books by this author.

    Victoria and Aiden’s story is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout. From the moment these two meet there is an instant connection, but can their pasts, with added twists and secrets, keep them from having a second chance at love? This is a beautifully written story which is sweet, realistic, heart-warming, fun, witty and humorous story. I highly recommend for all readers.

    Wow! “The Vow We Made” is a beautiful, heart-wrenching story that takes us on an emotional roller-coaster ride, but proves it’s possible for success in a 2nd time around love story! This is a fantastic romantic, drama-filled, unique storyline with surprising twists, plus well-defined & relatable characters, both H/h & realistic secondary characters that will hopefully reappear one day in a future book ;) Amazing attention-to-detail pulls the reader into the story and provides a movie in living color, even for never visiting another country before! ... So yes, this will keep readers engaged & turning pages like crazy! I was fortunate to be able to read this thru my Amazon KU trial subscription, as usual I will look forward to more works from this talented author :D I highly recommend this to adult fans of fiction & can’t wait for more from this talented author!

    I loved Victoria's giddyness and excitement at a new relationship that was blossoming - the doubts we all have about ourselves as we meet someone new was perfectly caught by Loriana Cappello's writing. But Victoria has a past that made trusting a man so hard, and so she kept Aiden in the dark.
    Aden was the perfect gentleman. A doctor in a busy A&E in a London hospital, an all round swoony character.
    A great story, beautifully written, I really enjoyed this.

    From the very first chapter I was deeply intrigued by this story. I loved the way the two main characters came together, but what really got me was the secret that was revealed at the end. Filled with sweet moments, this is a definite must read book.

    I've truly enjoyed this sweet story full of emotions.

    Victoria,a make up artist and Aiden,an A&E doctor,met by chance outside a London cafe.They like each other instantly,their attraction is obvious right away and their relationship seems blessed by fate but even their journey has some hurdles along the way.
    Are they strong enough to overcome the obstacles in order to be happy or will their fears be stronger making them move away from each other?

    Loriana Cappello has nicely told not only Victoria and Aiden's story but she has also written a little bit their friends' lives.
    I really hope this is only the first book of a new series because I'm so curious to read more of this group.

    This book was brilliantly conceived and written! I loved how much depth was given to these characters. Vickie and Aiden show through their journey that true love can survive anything!! I loved the ending!! It felt so real! I wish I could give this book 10 stars.Bravo! Thank you for staying true to your characters until the end!

    I thoroughly enjoyed this story as Victoria and Aiden are thrown together in the worst circumstances but fate keeps bringing them back together, although their path to love is never a smooth one. There are a lot of secrets and connections in this story and I love the friendships. There are lots of interesting side characters I would be happy to see more of.

    This story has a clear message not to let past relationships control your chance for happiness, apparent in both Victoria and Aiden's relationship and the developing one between Steph and Will.
