    This series started out with the typical Holmberg style that I love but as the series progressed it seemed to me, that he was grasping at straws to bring the series to a conclusion.     A very good book, but a bit rushed compared to the rest of the series. I was a bit disappointed that the book went more of the magic and new power route than martial skill. However, I understand why this needed to be the case as so many characters have raised to ridiculously high power levels.

    Imogen and her people have reclaimed their homeland kind now, the hard part of holding it against the dark forces against them, who just seem to be getting more powerful as time goes on. Can Imogen and her people evolve to what they will need to be?

    It was not quite the ending I was expecting. In fact, there seems to be a lot more to do. I think I will have to read the Chain Breaker series. This story continues from book 9 of that series.
