Putting in his all, he’s finally dealt with his past, shoving it in a dark corner of his heart. Forging forward, he forgets, only to find himself face to face with the one person who started it all. Her.

Aashna K is an up and coming author, who loves writing about love. Ever since she was a teenager, love stories have fueled her imagination, so finally, after over a decade of daydreaming and brainstorming, she took the plunge and grabbed the metaphorical pen and started writing. She enjoys writing stories about first love and second chances, and always gravitates towards characters that are strong, stubborn, and know who they are. Conflict and passion drives her stories and a strong pair of protagonists, makes the book.

Apart from writing she enjoys travelling, cooking and being silly with her husband and rambunctious Brittany spaniel.

I really enjoyed this book. It was different from what I usually read. The prose felt historical at times but I found myself really engaged in the story of Vienna and Kingston. Appears to be this author’s debut novel! I will definitely read more by her!

This book was surprisingly amazing. I feel like I’ve hit the jack pot with my new found indie authors this last month. March has been good with the newbies for me (this is why indie authors rock).

This is book one for Miss Aashna and it was pretty darn great. It did prove to be a bit of a slow read for me. It took me awhile to adjust to her writing style.
Once I got the swing of her words and flow, the story was remarkable.

Vienna’s character was a tough one to stay connected to. Although- I feel with this story, you didn’t really need to feel it from her. You knew something was different but you couldn’t quite figure out what it was. Her timid behavior was always out of place and I’m thankful we were able to figure out why in book one.

For me, Kingston was top notch alpha. He’s like every little package you could dream of. Taker of no malarkey, strong, sexy with a deep heart he didn’t share with everyone. He sounds perfect. I’m begging the author to let him bend a bit in book two. Or maybe I’m not, I don’t know.
I do however know I love him. Yep, it’s love.

Alex...... what to say about Alex. Talking about his role will really give too much away but I would like to send a plea to the author for more of him in book two. There is something there. The mysterious Alex needs his story told. My curiosity begs for more Alex.

Overall review of this book- I’d say it’s defiantly worth taking a chance on. If you love an angsty story, then buckle up! Aashna K proved to me one of the most angsty writers I’ve ever read. There were a few times I had to walk away to let go of some of the stress she induced! Hahaha

Ok Aashna, when do I get book 2?

    Happy Reading Peeps,
    Nic

For Unravel being Aashna K’s debut novel, I would have to say she did a really good job. For me the beginning of the story is a bit confusing, but I think that was done intentionally, because by the end it all makes so much sense. In the beginning we meet Vienna, and follow her step by step through sort of a break down. Things in her life start abruptly changing, and a past she’s unsure of comes back to visit her. Everything that follows that is a whirlwind.

I’m not going to say much about the plot of this book, because I believe you should go in sort of blind because it has layers that are UNRAVELed slowly. (Like that one huh?) What I will say is that this story is emotional and deep, and at some points gives off a bit of a soap opera plot vibe. If you enjoy emotional, dramatic and angsty romance, then this story is ABSOLUTELY for you.

This story has a “to be continued” ending, but I feel the first half of a story was told and completed, but now we wait for the more.

Wow, this book! There were so many different emotions I felt while reading this....Confusion, loss, love, anger, sadness....

In the beginning, I didn't know where the story was going. I think in the first 3-6 chapters, I couldn't get a grasp of what was happening, but I think the author did that with a purpose because of what our heroine, Vienna was feeling and going through. Our hero, Kingston loves and is in love with Vienna but can't get over how she easily walked out of his life without any explanations. Like their relationship and what they meant to each other did not matter. So 5 years past, no one knew of her accident. So when they finally all see each other again, emotions take over, and Kingston is just appalled by her non acknowledgement of him. Even though she doesn't remember him, she feels a pull towards him. She dreams of him but doesn't know him. So much happens, but overall, I liked this story a lot. I was disappointed that now I have to wait for the 2nd book for the conclusion!!! But, overall it was good, kept me on my toes. Would recommend.

I am surprised the this is the debut book by this author. It is obviously the first book that I have read by this author and I am intrigued and looking forward to reading more by her. I will say that I started off this book confused and a little irritated with how confused I was, but I am really glad that I stuck with it, because there were so many twists, turns and layers to this story and by the end I had a really good understanding.

This review is really hard to write because it will be extremely easy to give away spoilers but I will tell you that the characters are great, the storyline is amazing and the anticipation will leave you wanting to know what happens next. It will leave you with a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

If you are on the fence about this book, I am going to highly recommend that you just jump over to the side that says to read it.

    4 1/2 Stars!!
It has taken me about a day to come to terms with what I read with this book. Aashna is a new author and I was extremely happy to have read her debut book.

Unravel is a book that you get a little bit of information about, but omg is it so much more. Vienna Roy and Kingston Sharp are complex characters that you don't get a handle on until the end. But you have to stick with this story and it is oh so worth it.

I would have given it a full 5 stars but the ending kicked my a$$. I didn't see that one coming. I am so excited to read and see where the next book takes us. If you have time, this is a book to read. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.
