If the rest of the authors in this series deliver as much steam and connection like this instalove read, it will be an exciting couple of days to come. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers that the author warns of.

    Vanished in Brooklyn by Kylie Marcus is part of the multi-author Vanished series. This first book in the series is a fast-paced, OTT, kidnapping, insta-love, slight DD/lg, with a bit of spanking and a lot of sizzling hot and heavy passion. It all stars when Rian, the Captain of the Irish Mafia in NYC, has something of his grandfather's sent over but it is intercepted by the head of a rival family out of Chicago. When Rian tells his cousin to take something of equal importance to the head of the De Luca family Rian finds something very unexpected waiting for him in his office at home. As it turns out Seraphina, aka Sera, is the only daughter and youngest sibling of the De Luca family and as she is in NYC she makes the perfect bargaining chip, after all what is more important than the only daughter to a father. But Sera knows that she only has one value to her father, as an arranged marriage to cement an alliance for the family. Even as she finds herself being tied up, locking in a room, or put over a knee, she still cannot stop her attraction to the big, powerful and very sexy Rian, the man holding her captive. At the same time Rian quickly comes to realize that no matter what he is not letting Sera go back to Chicago and her family, as she has burrowed deep into his heart and soul.

    I enjoyed this book and found it to be an interesting and engaging read. I am looking forward to reading all about the four De Luca brothers as this is about to take an interesting turn if the second epilogue is any indication.

    Rian just wanted what belong belonged to him, when he asked for something personal of the one that took it, the last thing he expected was Sera in his office. Sera was in New York and enjoying her time with her friends, when she mistakes the wrong bodyguard, her life just took a turn for journey she was not expecting.

    Rian did not want to hurt Sera, the more time they spent together, the more Rian realized he did not want to give Sera back. This story has a number of twist and turn that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The pull between Rian and Sera is intense and heated, as the story unfold it leads to a few more question and will have you wanting more.

    This is the 1st book I've read written by Kylie Marcus; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

    This is part of the Vanished Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Sera & Rian; she’s a Italian Mafia Princess from Chicago; he’s the Irish Mob boss from Brooklyn. He kidnaps her and is holding her as collateral because her father took a family heirloom back to Chicago.

    Oh wow, ummm the end.... Really!? Now I am going to have to read the special extra book.
    This was a great read full of twists, and a great mystery at the end. I love alpha role that Rian played and his love for his queen.

What Rian doesn't realise is that De Luca is unlikely to want his daughter and she doesn't want to go back. A hot, steamy romance to HEA.
