    OMFG WHAT A BOOK!!!

If you have been following along with the adventures of Whitlock, then you will absolutely love this next installment. These books keep getting better as we delve further into Whitlock, and of course more dark and twisted. A. A. can bring the dark, and it makes me so happy. Then maim premise of this book is Bram and Scout 19 keeping Aamie safe for Everleigh. Without giving anything away, lets just say its not an easy task.

Arg this book, that ending!! I need Black Out like yesterday!!!

There are going to be some big, life changing changes to Whitlock coming down the road. I don't have a clue how Alaska is going to handle all this, but I have faith. Whitlock is a horrible, devastating and cruel place and it sure isn't any better in this installment. We get to see Bram and Everleigh again and I was thrilled! Their story is horrifying, heartbreaking and yet there is always that thin little thread of hope that somehow they will make it. There is a new slave there, part of a brother/sister twin, and their story is as sad as all the others. It certainly adds another twist to the progression of events there. I can't wait for the next book. And that ending..........can you say holy cliffhanger!!

Once again, I just wasn’t as invested in one of our main characters. The story overall was interesting, I’m just not a huge fan of the twins.
This one we are focusing on the male, Aamir, slave 27011. The plot was good but parts of it felt drug out, and I really do think it’s just because Aamir doesn’t interest me.
This book honestly seemed like the least dark of them all. Maybe I’m growing immune to the crazy? 🤷🏻‍♀️ but it seemed like there was less talk of the violence and SA in this one. It’s still there but didn’t seem as heavy.
There was a lot of what’s really going on, who do we trust…which I thoroughly enjoyed and the ending!? Omg. I need to dive into the next and last book of 24690 now!

A.A. Dark is trying to kill us, that's the only thing that I can think about this book. I always look forward with baited breath for the next Whitlock book, I devour them, and then I have to wait for the next one because A.A. Dark leaves us hanging for the next book.

This one was no different. OMG, I can't even believe what's going on with this book. I am totally sucked in to all the different plots and plans, and I'm trying to figure out what everyone is doing. As to what's going on now, all I can say is that Everleigh is going to blow her top and things are going to be explosive.

I can't wait for the next one. I kind of wish I had a time machine so that I could wake up tomorrow with the next one written and published so that I can read it immediately.

Holy moly, I'm not sure where you are going from this one but I'm jumping back in for the ride.
Again as usual it's dark, probably not to the extreme of the others. This one contained more of the on-goings but it's definitely a wait and see.
I can see we are not fans of Derek now.

The themes in these stories really dark. They move at a pace with a strong love theme woven between murder. Recommended read if you can stand the themes.
