    Nope I did not see a comparison with this authors work and Chandelle Lavaun, who is one of my faves. Sure the theme was recycled just like a billion other authors works, but its the telling that captures the reader. The story is certainly action packed. I didnt even realise I was nearing the end until it ended. Can't say its a fave yet, but kept me interested til the wee hours of the next morning. Certainly looking forward to the next episode where the shocker ending can hopefully give me closure. And maybe that whole Elle and Brax thing can get some clarity cos even though she's the bestie, I kinda wished she had a bigger role, like all besties do.

    The MC, Zinnia, started the story off thinking she was an average teenager in a world where magic was only in fairy tales. She moves from town to town every six months and was never really allowed out due to her mother's rules. When she settles in her best friend's town and starts at a new school the next day, she decides to break the rules, sneaks out, and attends a party with her best friend. That sparked meeting a boy whom she feels natural pull towards which she can't explain and having to run from the cops because the party was raided. When she is walking home she comes face to face with a magic battle for her life and finding out she is a Witch Queen that is destined to take down a power hungry King with four other Witch Queens. Not to mention, figure out why she can't stay away from the boy from the party who happens to be the Knight who swore to protect her.

    This was a page turner from the beginning! The way the author describes the world and characters makes me want to jump into the pages and experience what the characters are experiencing! I didn't see the end coming and immediately went on to the next book! I am very happy that I stumbled onto this series when it was finished so I don't have to wait for the next one to come out!
