    Meghan has done it again with her second inspirational romance set in small town America. I laughed and I cried, as I became totally immersed in the lives of Jude and Corrie and their families. This is a "clean romance" that I would be glad to share with my young adult friends too. Heavy subjects of domestic abuse, grieving & loss, and life's direction are woven throughout the pages of this story. Yet the author finds ways to keep the subjects handled with much grace and truth, so that the reader is drawn in to consider heavy issues in their own lives. Underneath it all is the sure foundation of safety that is found in living a life with God. I highly recommend this book!

    This is the 2nd book I've read by Meghan, and I have enjoyed each one. Meghan is an author that writes with her whole heart and soul and brings powerful truths to the forefront of her writing.     Wild Hope made me laugh, and cry. There are some truly touching moments as the characters deal with loss and disappointment, but these themes do not override the humorous and tender love story that gently unfolds on the pages. Weyerbacher's strength is in believable characters with flaws, but you love them and want to root for them. Her side characters hold their own and add to the small town setting with endearing charm. There is a serious struggle for bouncy, outgoing Corrie as she tries to break free of a controlling boyfriend who isn't ready to let her go. Swoon worthy and shy Jude is still overcoming his own grief over recent losses, and to see these two characters come together to support each other in healthy, uplifting ways is refreshing in a romance. A definite page turner!
