Winter Tales: A Christmas Anthology (The Original Sinners Companions) Kindle Edition

4.8 out of 5 stars 324 ratings

Return to USA Today bestseller Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners series with "Winter Tales," a collection of three fan-favorite Christmas novellas plus a brand-new novella exclusive to this anthology.

In "December Wine," the long-awaited story of Nora Sutherlin's first meeting with Nico can finally be told. Nora enlists her editor (and sometimes lover) Zach Easton on a mission to track down Kingsley's long-lost son. Nicolas "Nico" Delacroix turns out to be young, strikingly handsome, and very French. He wants nothing to do with his father...but everything to do with Nora.

This special holiday-themed collection also includes the novellas "Poinsettia," "The Christmas Truce," and "The Scent of Winter" (previously available only as ebooks). A bonus short story starring Søren rounds out the "Winter Tales" anthology.

I am a huge fan of Tiffany Reisz so I jumped at the chance to read and review this book of novellas and it does not disappoint! I loved reading more about Nora and Zach finding Nico and telling him the truth about his father in December Wine. Poinsettia is an interesting look back at a young Soren and his relationship with Magdalena. Somehow I had never read the Christmas Truce, where have I been?! Talk about smoking hot!! I have previously read the Scent of Winter, it will both rip your heart out, stomp on it, then put it back together. I do so love reading about Kingsley and Soren. Finally the novella Blood and Wine is the story of where Soren disappeared to when he found out about Fionn.

I really enjoyed reading these novellas, thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read/review in exchange for my honest opinion.

December Wine! Nora meets Nico! Every time we have some Nora and Nico you always want more! This is a fun novella for our Original Sinners fans that highlights when Nora confronts Nico to tell him about his father Kingsley -- oh yes! And we get some Zach and Nora action as well. Ms. Reisz weaves this novella wonderfully and somehow you just know that Nico is pinning for Nora at the end. There are also inside fatherly tidbits from Zach and his "connection" to Søren which is quite sweet.

This special holiday-themed collection also includes the novellas Poinsetta, The Christmas Truce, and The Scent of Winter (all previously available only as ebooks). A bonus short story starring Søren rounds out the Winter Tales anthology. And that little bonus tidbit lays out a teaser for Tiffany’s next book The Priest due out in April, 2020! Can’t wait!

I always love this time of year when Tiffany Reisz gives us a few novellas of
the shenanigans of Søren (swoon), King and Nora. Winter Tales is perfect. We get so much more info into the past stories and they fill in the little cracks. I can’t say that I have a favourite story. Each on brings back the fantastic characters that have graced the pages of the Original Sinners Series and it was great to be reacquainted with them. They tickle the itch every time. I just never seem to get enough of the sadist, masochistic, kinky characters.

I am probably one of the few who have never read The Original Sinners series. This novella definitely has me wanting to read it ASAP. With that being said you do not need to read the series to read this novella but you will want to binge read the series right away. I love Ms. Reisz' writing, she never ever disappoints. Absolutely a must read!

Anytime I get words from Tiffany Reisz is a gift. Getting new stories starring her iconic Original Sinners character is the best Christmas gift ever! These stories shine light on events that happen at Christmases over the years during the time of the Original Sinners Series. We get to see these beautifully strong characters at their most vulnerable...their stories of love and heartbreak will have you laughing, swooning and heading a few tears. The hilarious banter and wickedly kinky scenes compliment the series perfectly. Merry Christmas, kinksters!!

Every year I look forward to the Original Sinners bonus stories. I am slightly obsessed with these characters, and it’s always a thrill to return to their world. Winter Tales gifts us with five novellas from various points in time within the OS saga timeline. I loved every word. Reisz is a brilliant writer. She transports you into the lives of these characters, makes you laugh and cry, makes your heart swell and bleed, and she always keeps me wanting more.

Love this whole series. Read Original Sinners collection 1 books first, then this, and now starting Collection 2.
I find occasional editing errors, but not enough to detract from the story.
I discovered this author by reading one of her stand alone books, and now can’t get enough. Highly recommend!

This was a great collection of short stories, some old and some new. I loved reading about Nico, Soren, Kingsley, Nora and all of the other fantastic characters from the Sinners series. I wish it could have gone on forever and it was a great reminder of all they have gone through together.

This author takes her characters to another level. You can hear their voices in your head. Each character is so real you love them and hate them. They make you laugh and cry in equal measure.
The art of writing a description scene is that the reader almost transports to the location and this author does that. These short stories give an insight into the character and back ground for the novels. I have smiled and cried throughout this book and would still beg for more.
The skill of writing a dialogue that makes characters on the page come alive is the gift this author has in abundance.
This book is so well put together it's a joy to read and devistating to finish. The Original sinners is an amazing series and this just adds to it.

Delicioso.

    December wine

You know those authors that when you read thier words you just smile

No....well let me introduce you to Tiffany Reisz.

December Wine was like coming home and what a homecoming. I love hearing about the past again while they went on the hunt for Nicholas. Zach and Nora are fabulous together. It's so crazy but every man Tiffany writes for Nora just fits. Every man you can see her with. But the banter and jokes between these two I love it.

This is story of friendship, loyalty, human nature but above all a story of love.

These characters break my heart, they make me cry, they make laugh but above all they make me feel.

Nico and Nora instant connection. You feel it between them. It was destined to be. Nora had to find Nico. She really was meant to give Kingsley a son.

I know it's a prequel and I know we know how it goes with Nora and Nico, but I was sad when December Wine ended. I want more of thier story. More of thier letters.

    Christmas Truce

This one is a favourite of mine. There is so much love in this story between Nora, King and Sóren. So much live as well as a beautiful Christmas sentiment.

    Poinsetta

Bambi, Madga, and Father Ballard what a great story. Loved it
    🎅 🦌🐈🎄

    The Scent of Winter
Now this one is a favourite of mine. I mean how could it not. The only review it needs is Sòren and Kingsley. That says it all.

    Blood and Wine

What a perfect short story to end this book. Everything comes full circle.

I look forward always to more Tiffany and these amazing characters I like to call my friends.

    Perfection!!!
