Until three years ago, Lynette spent many years working as a teacher and running the English Department of a busy London secondary school. Prior to that she spent several years living and teaching in Greece. She gave up teaching to focus on her writing and to date has published three contemporary romances: The Apple Tree, Wishful Thinking and Shopping for Love, a romantic suspense, In Loving Hate and a romantic thriller, Killing Jenna Crane. A second romantic suspense (The Nightclub) was published last year.

Lynette currently lives in an early Victorian cottage in a picturesque Surrey village. When she's not reading or writing, she enjoys catching up with friends, the theatre and cinema and occasionally trying to tame her out-of-control garden and the family's eccentric cat.
