    This is a hot and oh so sexy,steamy quick read. This is a standalone yet you will get more understanding and enjoyment if you read Emma and Lucas journey in Caress first. In this novella Emma is struggling with self esteem issues along with the constant panic/anxiety of will she ever be good enough for Lucus or his world. Lucas was exceptional along with his family to help her see she is worthy. This was just the right little morsel to get you in the mood for the holidays.

    This is a quick little bite of a most delicious couple, Lucas and Emma. I loved them in Caress and was thrilled to get this additional tidbit of them together. Emma is struggling to feel worthy of being the woman in Lucas’ world. She doesn’t feel as though she fits in and she’s having doubts. But Lucas is her man for a reason and he proves that once again as he gives Emma the perfect assurance that she needs.

    This is fast and steamy, a little angsty due to Emma’s insecurities, and extremely heartwarming at its ending. We get to see Emma in all her glory and Lucas at his most dashing as well as swoony. While this didn’t quite take us to Christmas, it is a great little read to help get you in the spirit of the season.

    I volunteered to leave a review after reading this book. Josie just loves to take us on a journey of love and what happens to these characters. Here we have Lucus and Emma. Lucus is the king of real estate and Emma is the daughter of a scam artist. Putting the two of these so different types of people worked...But judge for yourself..
