A Beautiful Mess by T.K. Leigh really left me a beautiful mess and I loved every moment of it. This book literally took me on a roller-coaster of emotions and I couldn’t get enough of it. From the first page to the very last page, I was hooked and could not put the book down. When I reached the last page in my kindle, literally I was screaming NOOOOO!!! A Beautiful Mess will capture any readers attention since it truly shows the love of a man who never stopped loving his first love and a woman whose tragic past continues to haunt her from truly loving and being loved.
Sarah Olivia Adler is simply a beautiful mess. For twenty-one years, Olivia has been struggling to come to grips with the reality that her parents are dead. Alone and no family for emotional support, Olivia has built these walls surrounding her heart. She keeps her distances from friends and from anyone getting too close since she has these fears that they are gonna end up leaving her. In coping with her pain and loneliness, she finds temporary solace with alcohol and sex. Olivia constantly has these dreams/nightmares reliving the tragic event of her parents death. Though the dreams are hazy, one thing remain constant in her dreams is a boy with green eyes. The only true thing that comforts Olivia is music. Music plays an instrumental role in allowing Olivia to truly express her feelings. With only a handful of true friends, Olivia finally sets her roots in Boston till one day she stumbles upon Mr. Alexander Burnham. Little did she know, Alex is the boy in her dreams with the green eyes.
Alexander Burnham is a successful business owner of a private security firm, Burnham & Associates. For twenty-one years, he has never given up on hopes of finding his first love, Olivia Deluca. For so many years, Alex thought his Olivia died alongside with her parents in a car crash but soon he finds his past staring straight back at him. The only problem is that the Olivia Deluca that he knows goes by the name of Sarah Olivia Adler and has no recollection of her past. Shocked and amazed that he finally found her, Alex makes it his mission to not lose her again. Call it destiny or fate, but when Alex and Olivia first laid eyes on each other, there was a spark and connection that was like a magnetic pull drawing them together.
The chemistry between Alex and Olivia is one of those connection that has no words. It was raw and heartfelt. After twenty years of having this empty void, it was like the heavens were finally blessing Alex and Olivia to finally get their chance to a happily ever after. Years of heartache and loss, Alex can finally hold onto the only woman who held his heart and mind. For Olivia, Alex was her missing piece to the puzzle. He was the glue who finally could piece her heart together. As Alex tries to discover why his father faked the death of Olivia, he must first try to overcome the looming fear of what secrets and truths lies in the letter that his deceased father left him. Alex fears if he reveals and tells Olivia of her true identity that she will run away. Running away is what Olivia does when she fears of getting her heart broken and disappointment. The emotional attachment issues is one burden that Olivia can’t seem to shake off. As Olivia’s feelings for Alex grows strong, her fears and insecurities causes her to do the only thing that she knows which is to run away.
A Beautiful Mess was just AMAZING!!!! Ms. Leigh did one hell of a job on her debut book and I must applaud her in this well written romantic suspense thriller. This book had everything that I loved from romance, sexual chemistry, angst, suspense and mystery. I loved everything about this book and could not find one thing I would change. Ms. Leigh did a brilliant job in portraying Alexander and Olivia. Their characters were portrayed so honest and raw that you were able to feel every emotions that they evoked from sadness, happiness, love, heartache, anger and bliss. What I truly love is that all the secondary characters were key players and played an integral part to Alexander and Olivia’s story. Ms. Leigh did an excellent job incorporating them to the storyline without having them overshadow the main point of the story. Wow!!!.. Ms. Leigh knows how to write a book filled with sexual tension, chemistry, and angst. The chemistry of Alexander and Olivia was palpable from their very first meeting and I couldn’t get enough of it. I was so invested into unraveling the mystery of Olivia’s past and wanted to scream and shout to Alex to just reveal Olivia’s true identity. Literally I was up at 2 am and screaming NOOOO when I got to the last page. Luckily for me, I had Tragic Wreck on standby and yes I did start the book right away at 2am since I was dying of curiosity on what’s going to happen next. So yes, go read A Beautiful Mess. This book did not disappoint me and I can’t get enough of Alexander and Olivia.
A Tragic Wreck:
A Tragic Wreck was just absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Ms. Leigh did it once again, with her second installment of the Beautiful Mess series, she had me glued to my kindle and devouring this book in one sitting. Seriously, this woman can write one hell of a romantic suspense. All I can say is that A Tragic Wreck should come with a warning label. Literally this book took me on one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride with so many twists and turns. Personally, I didn't know which way Ms. Leigh was going to pull her readers when it came to Olivia and Alexander. At one point in the book, it felt like I was at the top of the rollercoaster waiting for that big drop that would have me holding onto the edge of my seat since Alexander and Olivia's relationship was at a stage of uncertainty. Once the crazy ride was over, I couldn't wait to re-read this book again and that's how much I loved Tragic Wreck.
A Tragic Wreck picks off where it last left on in A Beautiful Mess, Olivia left Alexander and her friends without telling them where she has ran off to. In her own little bubble in Florida, Olivia is still a beautiful mess. Her fears of getting too close and issues continues to plague and haunt her. Alexander's words of " You always try to stay strong, ignoring the past, but you can't keep it all inside, love. It will destroy you. It will destroy me, too," are exactly why Olivia felt the need to run. In her mind, she didn't want to destroy Alexander with her past and commitment issues. Deep down, she really loved and cared for him and so she felt it was best to cut him loose. What she didn't realize that how hard it was to escape the memory of Alexander. Several hundreds of miles separated them but the love she feels for Mr. Burnham is something that she couldn't deny. Olivia was just going through the motions and just existing till one morning, she was approached by Cameron Bowen. Olivia saw Cam as someone who can possibly ease the pain of her heart and someone to take the edge of her sexual desires to FEEL something. As much as you wanted to hate Cam and tell him to back off, he was a total sweetheart and deeply cared for Olivia.
Back in Boston, Alexander Burnham was a mess. Like Olivia, he was just existing. His Olivia left him broken-hearted. The emotional mess Alexander and Olivia goes through really puts the readers on one hell of an emotional wreck. There were times you wanted to snap and yell at Olivia but at the same time, you had to understand her reasonings and fears. When Alexander finally tried to move on with his new love interest, he still couldn't forget Olivia. No matter how much Alexander wanted to forget and move on, Olivia was forever ingrained in his heart and mind. His Olibia. His first love.
As much as Olivia and Alexander tried to forget, they couldn't. In a Beautiful Mess, we learned that Alexander never gave up on his search for Olivia. He had hope that she still was alive. She was the only person who owned his heart completely. In A Tragic Wreck, will fate be kind to Olivia and Alexander again the second time around? Will Alexander finally be able to capture the heart of his Eve? Will Olivia finally admit her love for Alex and stop running? Or will Alex finally take Olivia's advice and move on? Or is Olivia destined to be with someone else?
I absolutely love Mr. Burnham. He was sweet, domineering, loving, gentle, understanding, protecting, and a total Alpha male. What I truly love about him was that he never gave up on Olivia. He loved her so fiercely and throughout the book you could feel it. Olivia and Alexander's connection was so raw and heartfelt. The magnetic pull they had for each other was so strong that their love was palpable in each scene they interacted. You wanted to cry with Olivia and Alexander when they were at their lowest point.
One word to describe A Tragic Wreck: Captivating!!! This book blew my mind and I loved it. Ms. Leigh is such an amazing talented author. She literally took her readers on a roller-coaster ride of emotions. So many tears were shed when it came to Olivia and Alexander. This couple literally gutted my heart. I felt every ounce of their pain, hurt, heartbreak, love, and happiness. If there was ever a couple that I wholeheartedly rooted for, it would have to be Alexander and Olivia. Each moment they were apart and together, you could feel how much they loved each other. Every song and words exchange were so heartfelt and meaningful. Their connection and bond were so strong that I felt their love was similar to a Chinese proverb called the Red String of Fate. In this proverb, it states " an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place and circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle. But it will never break." I truly believe Alexander and Olivia were fated to meet again and were each other's soul-mates. They were each other's missing piece of their heart. Overall, all I can say is that A Tragic Wreck took my heart, twisted it around, tore it to pieces, and slowly taped it back together.
Lastly, I can't wait for Gorgeous Chaos and I have no doubt that Ms. Leigh will keep her readers on the edge of their seats and holding their breaths as to what will happen to Alexander and Olivia when finally truths and secrets are exposed. I seriously can't wait for this book but at the same time, I'm sad to have the series come to an end since I don't want to say goodbye to Mo, Kiera, Cam, Olivia, and of course Mr. Burnham. So if you haven't read A Beautiful Mess and A Tragic Wreck, I highly recommend you do. You do not want to miss an epic, heartbreaking, beautiful fated romance that will have you yearning for more.
Gorgeous Chaos:
Gorgeous Chaos by T.K. Leigh was just absolutely F&*#ING AMAZING conclusion to the Beautiful Mess series!!! I am in awe of Ms. Leigh's writing. She did it once again, with her final installment of the Beautiful Mess series, she had me glued to my kindle and had me devouring this book in one sitting. I loved every moment in this final installment. From the first page to the very last page, I was hooked and could not put this book down. When I reached the last page in my kindle, I was literally a beautiful mess. I didn't want to say goodbye to Olivia and Alexander and had tears streaming down my face. Seriously, I think Ms. Leigh should put warning labels in her books. I have never read a series that CONSUMED and made me FEEL. Gorgeous Chaos took me on one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride that I felt every ounce of RAW emotions being poured out in each page.
Gorgeous Chaos picks off where it last left off in A Tragic Wreck, Olivia and Alexander are engaged and ready to tie the knot. But one secret has yet to be revealed, the TRUTH of Olivia's real identity. For years, Sarah Olivia Adler has been told lies and thought she was alone. The chemistry between Alex and Olivia is one of those connection that has no words. It was raw and heartfelt. After twenty years of having this empty void, it was like the heavens were finally blessing Alex and Olivia to finally get their chance at a happily ever after. They were each other's missing piece and glue. Alex was the glue who finally could piece Olivia's heart together. Furthermore, the sexual chemistry between Alex and Olivia were off the charts. I mean it was a blazing inferno!! It was steamy, sensual, and passionate.
Oh Mr. B.. I LOVE YOU!!! In my personal opinion, Mr. Burnham is PERFECTION. How can you not love a man who LOVES wholeheartedly. What truly amazes me of Mr. B is how strong and deep his LOVE for Olivia is.. No matter how many years has passed, there is only one person who holds his heart and that his OLIVIA!!! Sigh!!

This series had everything that I loved from romance, sexual chemistry, angst, suspense and mystery. I loved everything in this series and could not find one thing I would change. Ms. Leigh did a brilliant job in captivating the readers in the beautiful journey of Alexander and Olivia. Their characters were portrayed so honest and raw that you were able to feel every emotions that they evoked from sadness, happiness, love, heartache, anger and bliss. Ms. Leigh took me on hell of emotional ride. So many tears were shed when it came to Olivia and Alexander. This couple literally gutted my heart. I felt every ounce of their pain, hurt, heartbreak, love and happiness. Each moment they were apart and together, you could feel how much they loved each other. Every song and words exchange were so heartfelt and meaningful.
If you haven't read the Beautiful Mess Series, I highly suggest you do. This series is in my top favorites for it will capture any readers attention since it truly shows the love of a man who never stopped loving his first love and a woman whose tragic past continues to haunt her from truly loving and being loved. Ms. Leigh writes such an emotional tale of true love that it will capture any hearts. She will grip you in this heartwrenching, touching and beautiful tale of first love, second chances, friendship and family.
All of the best love stories have one thing in common, you have to go against the odds to get there. And Alex and Olivia showcased that their LOVE story is FATED and MEANT TO BE. Though their love may be described as a Beautiful Mess, a Tragic Wreck and a Gorgeous Chaos, Alex and Olivia proved true love exists. Overall, all I can say is that this series took my heart, twisted it around, tore it to pieces, and slowly taped it back together. So if you haven't read A Beautiful Mess and A Tragic Wreck, I highly recommend you do. You do not want to miss an epic, heartbreaking, beautiful fated romance that will have you yearning for more. What I truly love about Ms. Leigh is that she writes beautiful, captivating, heartbreaking, and touching stories that grips you, touches you and stays with you. And The Beautiful Mess Series was a perfect example of this. The storyline is original, the characters were genuine and honest and the emotions were raw.
