Always With You: A heart-warming story of love, loss & friendship Kindle Edition
Love and loss in the Australian Outback…
Twenty-one-year-old Libby Taylor needs a change of scene. Struggling to deal with the death of her mother, she becomes fixated on an old photo album. In particular, pictures of the man she believes to be her father.
Unable to ignore the niggling questions any longer, she sets off to Australia in search of answers.
Soon, she’s travelling the same route her mum travelled more than twenty years earlier. As she relaxes into the lively backpacker scene, thoughts of finding her father begin to fade. Maybe all she needed was a break from reality.
She never expected to have such an amazing time.
She also didn’t expect to find love.
But when her path crosses repeatedly with the lovely Andrew, sparks begin to fly. With his encouragement, she decides to continue the search for her father. Finally, in a dusty outback town, she discovers the familiar faces from the photographs. As the past begins to unfold, Libby learns the heartbreaking truth about her father, and the secret her mum kept for more than twenty years.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2017This is the story of a mother and a daughter and the daughter's quest to find her father. Evelyn Taylor went on backpacking to Australia in 1994. She came back to England with a lot more than when she left. Evelyn raised Libby by herself with help from her friends. Twenty years later, Evelyn is dying, and for the first time, she tells Libby about her trip to Australia. Libby decides to take her own backpacking trip to Australia to see if she can find any clues about her father.
Always With You was very well-written story, alternating between Evelyn and Libby's experiences in Australia.
The characters were very likeable. They were well developed. It was a lovely story that I was not able to put down. I also learned a lot about Australia. I would definitely recommend Always With You to my reading friends!
I was given an Advance Reading Copy for an honest review.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2017A sweet story with a surprisingly emotional twist to the ending, which was satisfying. However, much of the book seemed more like a travelogue of backpacking in Australia than a novel. I also got tired of the continual beer drinking and partying, especially in a book that is otherwise "clean and wholesome" (no explicit sex or profanity). Good read otherwise!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2017Another great read from Ellis. This book looks at both the the pain of loss with all of the exhilaration of backpacking in a new place and self discovery it can bring. This book beautifully balances loss, intrigue and lighthearted romance together. Again, Ellis created great characters for us to fall in love with and some strong willed, witty females to get behind.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2018What a great book. I was a heart warming, feel good story. It pulled you in made you feel like you were there. It was well written and kept you interested throughout. I recommend it to all. I received it as an arc and voluntarily reviewed it.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2020This book started out slowly and it built my curiosity and kept me reading. I have just finished and my heart is aching that it’s over. What a beautiful story. I cried multiple times. This one is sure to leave me with a book hangover
- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2017This book was okay, but there was far too much partying and drinking going on and not much focus on the actual storyline for my liking.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2017I laughed, cried and couldn't put this book down. Stayed up late to finish it. I will continue to follow this author and I look forward to reading more of her books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read
I usually read crime fiction, forensics, serial killers etc. This latest novel from Hannah Ellis has reminded me how good it is to read a wonderful heart warming, well written piece of fiction about life, love and heartbreak! I thoroughly enjoyed her vivid description of the Austrailian outback. I could feel the sweltering heat and taste the cold beer. The inexpected ending pleased me no end. Keep on writing Hannah Ellis!

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely heartwarming
This book broke me. I laughed. I cried. I fell for Joe right along side Evelyn. My heart was on a roller coaster, right along with Libby, on her journey. The end had me bawling like a baby as I read the last chapter.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a lovely story.
This was such an amazing story of 2 halves. One about mother & the other from the daughter carrying out her mothers wishes that she made b4 she died. There are a lot of happy bits some sad ones & lot of mystery too. The ending was not what I was expecting it was mu h better than I had guessed it was going to be. Its a must read book I'm sure everyone would enjoy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Standalone story
This is a heart wrenching story of a daughter who never knew who her father was until her mother died and she went in search of him in Australia. The story goes between the mother's adventures as a young person and the daughters travels to find out the story and what she finds out along the way. The characters are great and for me is one that I could not put down to find out who her father was and the joy of her meeting a special person along the way. Great story andI didn't want it to end and would highly recommend everyone to read it.
