Practical NLP 4: Submodalities and Anchoring Kindle Edition

4.7 out of 5 stars 16 ratings

Would you like a practical guide to the most powerful NLP techniques?

Written in clear, accessible language, this book covers what you need to know about two of the fundamental building blocks of NLP: submodalities and anchoring.

It explains the powerful interventions that use these building blocks in detail, and tells you just what you need to do to make them work.

It also goes into more detail than most NLP books about how to elicit resourceful emotional states effectively – a key factor for anchoring that can make the difference between success and failure.

Read this book to get step-by-step instructions for NLP techniques including:
  • Belief change with submodalities
  • ‘Mapping across’
  • The ‘Circle of Excellence’
  • The Swish pattern
  • Stacking, chaining, and collapsing anchors
… and much, much more!

This book will be useful to anyone who is interested in personal development, and is also a useful revision tool for NLP practitioners who need a reminder of particular techniques. Therapists and change workers from other disciplines will also benefit from having these useful tools at their disposal.

Andy Smith is an NLP trainer with 25 years experience of teaching and writing about these methods. Let him guide you through some of the most effective techniques in NLP.

I wanted to know about this specific NLP technique of anchoring so i could use it myself without seeing a NLP practitioner and this books explains it very clearly and simply and in enough detail for my purpose . Highly recommended . I was that pleased with the results from using the anchoring process in such a short time that I haven't even read the first half of the book on submodalities so I cannot comment on this first half . I feel that just the anchoring bit by itself is worth the full price of this kindle book .

Picky, I know, but it would be nice if all the "Practical NLP" series were the same format (size). Just makes it look like a "book set" - i.e. an incrementing series of books, by the same author, on the same topic. Otherwise, looks like a good introduction to the basics of NLP (I only have 1 and 4).
