Earth to Centauri: Black Hole Oblivion by Kumar L is an intriguing blend of astrophysics and sci-fi thriller. Captain Anara and her spaceship Antariksh are sent on a mission to capture alien terrorists who’ve attacked India. Their mission is to quell a civil war in the alpha Centaurian region. To get there, the ship must attain speeds faster than light. When leaving FTL speed, they find themselves trapped in the event horizon of a black hole.

Facing diminishing fuel supplies, Anara and her crew must find a way to escape the inescapable or face death by black hole. The stakes are higher than just the crew because the infant black hole is growing and within a year will consume Earth’s solar system. Ultimately, the crew exits the black hole and due to time dilation can observe the Antariksh and themselves before they entered the black hole. I won’t give away a spoiler, but life and death decisions are required in order to save Earth.

There are many thought-provoking sci-fi ideas and astrophysical concepts included in this story, making it a fun and thoroughly enjoyable read. Highly recommended!

Wow! The third in the series is the best one, yet. It was simply unputdownable. Once I started I just left all chores by the side and read non stop till I finished it. And the ending left me hungry for more. Highly recommended!

An attack on an Indian Naval Hospital ship leaves forty-four dead and seventy-six injured. The terrorists were in fact aliens, and they manage to escape.

The Prime Minister of India wants to chase them down and make them pay, but the world Security Council, made up of eight nations, wants India to stand down. They don’t want to incite further violence.

Disgusted at how soft other nations have become, the PM of India breaks rank and orders Captain Anara to give pursuit in her ship, the Antariksh. She must stop them before they get to their home planet. Desperate to escape, the aliens set off an explosion which has serious consequences ... for everyone.

Earth to Centauri: Black Hole Oblivion is an interesting premise for a SF story. My one suggestion for improvement would be smoothing out the dialogue, especially when it came to technical details. Still, it’s a great premise for a SF story and fans of the genre should enjoy the read.

I was rather disappointed with this in comparison to the first two books in the series. There was rather too much science and not enough fiction to make this a good science fiction book. Hope book four will be better.

One Ship. One Crew. No Escape
    @kumarlauthor . 🚀

This book is third in series of Earth to Centauri and now I say that I started loving more sci fi novel. This is my second book of Kumar L and what a brilliant start of this book and wait but story takes a sharp turn in between and now we have to wait more for fourth book .but it didn't mean that this book is not intresting it is way more entertaining and woah what a theory of black hole which reminded me of Stephen king. 🚀I was surprised by the depth knowledge of author in science, physics ,black hole, universe, zero space, gravity and lot more. 🚀Language is not so simple but understandable some science related vocabulary you can search for. 🚀I like the character of Captain Anara, strong minded, dedicated and devoted which comes out more beautifully in this book. 🚀Content :As some aliens attacked in Mumbai because Anara takes three human to earth from her last trip to centuri. Now they have to fight back and have to take revenge so alien again don't try to attack on earth. 🚀Antriksh their spaceship is ready to go on next trip with Anara, Rayn and Maneesha and 100more crew members in which more are soldiers who will be trained to fight in space with Aliens. 🚀But in their journey Antariksh stuck in a black hole and this is first time that any human ship face this, and they don't know what to do their all theories came to an end and Anara declared we are going towards death....
Now you have to read to know more about Black Hole and how they escaped through black hole. 🚀Book is through out engaging and story devides in chapters which keep you understand each thing easily. 🚀P. S. I recommend if you read any part of this series before reading this so you can understand characters and story plot easily.

5.0 out of 5 stars A treat for sci-fi lovers

Sci-fi can be an interesting genre to read if it has been written, narrated and edited well. If anyone of these ingredients is missing, you would lose the charm of this genre and will not be able to enjoy the story completely. Having read one of the previous works by the same author and a book in the “Earth to Centauri” series, I was expecting this book to be a good one. Luckily, it met my expectations and I give it 5 stars out of 5.

The story revolves around Captain Anara who is the brave protagonist and shows his courage in various instances in the story. This time, his mission is a tougher one and is related to the Black Hole which is well suggested by the title of the book. And, if you have been good at science, you must be aware that Black Hole is definitely not an easy place in the outer space. Well, Captain Anara is not alone in this mission and sets out with his team to fight with the after-effects of human betrayal. To find out whether he will be successful in this mission or not and whether the story ends here, you will have to read this book.

The narration is fast-paced and crisp so as to ensure that the charm of the genre is maintained. I found the cover bright and attractive which instantly appealed to my eyes. The title is apt as the story revolves around the Black Hole. The plot is good because it is quite difficult to think about something good in science fiction that will impress a variety of readers.

If you enjoy reading sci-fi novels, I would recommend this book to you. Even if you are not a big fan of the genre, you can still go for this book because it is a thrilling and adventurous one.

4.0 out of 5 stars A gripping novel.

Earth to Centauri: Black Hole Oblivion by Kumar L is a book that takes you in and around and through the black hole in the far space. It is a book that has science along with basic tenets of humanity at its core. The combination of science and faith made it a wonderful ride for me. With a gorgeous cover and a unique premise, the book does promise to take you on a thrilling tour of the space.

Contrary to the popular belief, the book has been written in a convincingly simple writing style. A wide range of ideas such as the baby universe, singularity, zero space, etc have been described in the story and explained at the end of the book. The language was fine and the central plot was developed well. It's crisp and fast-paced and that's the reason why I could truly enjoy reading it. The characters seemed close to real humans and not belonging to some other world which usually happens in sci-fi books. I had great respect for Captain Anara, the protagonist of this book, who displays commendable grit and grace.

The neat plot and crisp narration worked well for the book. The terminology used in the book like Kifrwyss and Trukiff was also relatable to the content. I would truly recommend this book to the young minds of our country to read it and understand the space. I personally feel that people interested in science would like it very much and the ones not quite interested in the genre would also find a fair share of pleasure.

This is the third book from earth to Centauri series by kumar L and the author have done a great work in planning the story line and plots. The writing in this book is too good and the best I liked from this book is it's story line which revolves around black hole. The author takes the physics laws related to black hole, in consideration, perfectly. How the time lapse works, how the black hole works, what great theories say about black hole, and how black hole is formed or originated. This book really is a good one which is highly recommended by me to read as it catches great story and interesting theories.
