    It's a good idea to start one of Kane's series from book one. Regardless of the character(s) you are following, Kane builds on his story line and deepens his characters as you move through each series. Additionally, the protagonists from various series pop up in another character's story line in a sort of mutual aid scenario. The Caliber series is great. Kane tends to write novelettes so these books are a great read when you're short on time. You can curl up on a rainy weekend and read the whole Caliber series. I know you will Enjoy this series and all the rest.
