Chaos At The Clinic: | A Clean Medical Romantic Comedy Novella (Medically Yours Book 1) Kindle Edition
She’s neat. He’s not. Will his trail of disaster lead to her heart?
He carves a trail of destruction through her carefully ordered office. He tells dreadful jokes. He’s Irish. He can charm rocks into talking. And he was supposed to be a woman … and she’s to blame because he’s not!
Jennifer Sanders spends her days tearing her hair out as he turns her clinic upside down with his unique brand of happy, chaotic magic. The patients love him (despite what he does to them), and Jennifer’s sensible, organized life takes a dramatic turn towards the unpredictable.
But Pat has a way of stealing into her heart. The only problem is, just as she’s beginning to fall for him, his past rises to reclaim him, leaving her wishing that she hadn’t succumbed to his charms.
Will Pat be able to free himself from his past? Will Jennifer allow him into her heart, or will she return to the orderly life she’s used to?

- Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2021Jennifer is the very efficient office manager at a clinic, everything runs smoothly when she’s in charge, but her take charge attitude causes her younger sister to quit and another dr has to leave for health problems. Pat is recruited to fill the empty slot as doctor, but there is a misunderstanding with 2 doctors of the same name in the same specialty, and Jennifer thought they were hiring the other doctor. Yes he causes chaos, but he also brings light and fun and camaraderie to the office- until Virginia comes ( his ex with her own agenda). Can the office regain its happy vibes and smooth functioning when someone is determined to tear it all down- specifically tear Jennifer down?
This is the start of a really fun, medical themed stories. They each can be standalone, but there are previous characters showing up, and new characters coming on the scene that will be highlighted later. Clean and fun
- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2023Jennifer and Pat's story is simply adorkable especially their meet-cute. There is something missing, but I'm not sure I can currently put it into words.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2022The story was cute and I loved Pats dad jokes but Virginia was a little too childish for someone later in life. I think her “attacks” should’ve been a little more vicious and age appropriate. Just my opinion. I liked the premise and that it was clean and still quirky.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2023What a lighthearted, funny story. Followed Ruckus at Rehab and both tales were enjoyable. Combine a neat freak with a qualified mess, throw in an ex-wife, and mayhem ensues. Of course since this is an HEA. all's well.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2021I love her stories. The romance, comedy and a great story. I like that the stories don’t go on and on. I can’t wait to read the next book.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2021It wasn't my preferred type of story. Giving the animals at the farm a voice was a big "No" for me.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2021I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I was enjoying this book until Chapter 4 when I came across a word that didn’t make any sense to me. The passage reads as, “When he took off a few hours off to let the removalists into his new place…” Well I had to stop and figure out what the author meant. It only took a few minutes to discover that the author lives in another country from the U.S. (where the book takes place) and used they terminology “removalists” for “movers”. When Virginia runs into a man outside of a coffee shop and was injured, the man takes her inside to have something to drink or eat and says something like, “(m)y shout.” Virginia admits to being a part of the blame and the man says, “(m)aybe, but it’s still my shout”, I don’t know what that means except for maybe “my treat”? Another was calling a “bandage” a “plaster”. This book was full of things that. That is a pet peeve of mine. I would have preferred the book to take place in her country. Why have a book take place in another part of the world from your own country? It is like the author is trying to appeal to a bigger audience. I did not remove any stars from the book for this. I like learning through reading but it took some charm away from the book for me.
This book was written in a dual POV format. That is my favorite. I get to see the characters’ thoughts to really connect with them. I was able to understand them better and it made them more human instead of just characters of a book.
This is a sweet read that anyone could read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chaos At The Clinic
Jennifer is the practice manager of the clinic and is ending up being the nurse as well when someone's late or doesn't show up. First the clinic nurse quits and then the doctor has to leave. The doctor has a replacement doctor lined up but a mistake sends the offer to the wrong person but this is very good. The nurse replacement is not so good. After she hires her, Jennifer finds out she is Pat's ex-wife. Virginia is not nice and I'm glad she leaves. During all this, Pat and Jennifer connect romantically. Pat is a very good match for the clinic and for Jennifer as well. I loved the humor in this book.
